Replacement parts were re-manufactured and worn out the original parts purchased were new.
I bought two CV shafts and an inner axle and bearing kit for my ram pickup. Everything went together great but then CV shaft on driver side started flinging out grease from underneath the boot. After several pictures the seller agreed it must’ve been assembled wrong. All parts were originally delivered were brand new. They sent me a replacement which I had to pay $40 for shipping even though it was under the lifetime warranty. Fine that was ok with me. But when the part arrived the splines were worn off completely and it was a rusty painted over remanufactured part. I called them they sent them several pictures. They agreed that should’ve never happened and sent out a replacement axle what they promised would be brand new. I just received it last night from FedEx 2/25/26 same scenario rusty used refurbished part not new not only that all the replacements I’ve been sent arrive in plain boxes not even Detroit axle packaging. Bought lots of stuff form with no trouble, but I’ve never had to return anything. I will probably never buy anything from them again. This has been a nightmare. So talked to customer service again they said it was their fault. They were reading the part numbers wrong and replacing my bad part with a remanufactured part instead of the original new part they’re shipping out the third one now let’s see if it’s correct if it is, I will change my review.

Perfect replacement like all Detroit axle products
I’m not sure what everyone else was having issues with. Maybe they haven’t done anything like this before. Perfect match for a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500. Didn’t have any issues what so ever, not with the machining or quality. Everything fit as it should only thing that sucked the u-joints are not grease-able. So just a heads up on that.

Great product and buy in North America
Excellent product made in North America and have only installed the right cv axel so far and it is working great. It is a fantastic price for new axels as even reclaimed ones from an auto recycler would have cost almost as much. Rebuilt ones are not as reliable as new ones either. All in all a very good buy and remember to put in new seals to the transaxle which I found only at Napa for a reasonable price

They work great
These axles were great. A lot of people say they put them in and they click after a little while couple days but those people most likely did not put grease in them. The factory grease is them, but there’s really not enough so if people have problems with these axles, it’s because they didn’t check how much grease was in the boots I agreed mine installed them. They were great direct axle as a well known company. I think people just had failed to check the grease in the axles before installing them is why they had issues

Started failing after 2 days installed
I made the mistake of trying to save cost and the saying is true, you get what you pay for. This sat on my shelf for my project car for 4 months, i installed it and on the 3rd day of install it started to click and vibrate. On the 5th day the axle was shaking so bad and making horrible noises that the car became undrivable. When i looked at the axles on the 5th day i found most of the paint had flaked off and the whole axle has flaky rust chunks under the paint, They never scuffed, sandblasted or anything before painting and just painted over thick rust. they are as rusty as my 6yo oem axles from Minnesota were. No warranty available due to how long it took me to install. Wont ever buy a detroit axle product again. Ive learned a valuable lesson. Pay once and cry once (install once).
