I have a 2017 Ford C-Max and, like other Ford and Toyota vehicles, the OEM version of these were breaking down and needed to be replaced. The tire shop said that they would replace them for free as long as I bought mine elsewhere and brought them in when they did the tire rotation. So I did the rotation yesterday and the tire shop said they fit just fine. They are nice and shiny and feel pretty sturdy. I just put them on so I won't be able to comment on their durability for another couple of years. But they fit great and there were no issues with using them on my car.

Doing a tire rotation on my son's 2016 Ford Escape that he had recently purchased. The first two factory lug nuts I tried to remove just spun and didn't come off. Looking further into the problem, I learned that the Ford lug nuts are two pieces, with a metal cover over the true lug nut. This cover is prone to rusting underneath and/or swelling to the point that when trying to remove the lug nut, this cover just spins free from the lug nut. I used a smaller size socket which I had to drive onto the cover and was able to remove both of the lug nuts which had the loose covers. The other lug nuts I was able to get off by hammering the proper size 3/4 (19 MM is almost the same size and can also be used) socket onto them and removing them with a breaker bar. They had to be hammered on because although they didn't spin free from the lug nuts, they had swollen from heat and the elements. Fortunately I was able to get all of them removed. I had ordered 20 of the replacement one piece lug nuts from DPAccessories after first finding the two bad lug nuts on the car, and had these in hand to replace all of the factory lug nuts at once. They fit perfectly and are a much better option than getting more Ford lug nuts which are still made with the fake covers. No worries now that future tire rotations or removing a flat tire will turn into a bad experience because of lug nuts that will not come off. I had found recommendation for these lug nuts on several Ford forums and am glad I did!!

These new DPAccessories lug nuts replaced lug nuts on a 2002 Ford Focus ZX-5 with custom wheels and tires. A perfect match for chrome rims, like mine. You need a 19mm deep socket to get these on and off. I now keep a 19mm deep socket on my personal tire wrench all the time (it's an expandable wrench with removable sockets). A standard 19mm socket is too short and will not work. I consider the shine on these lug nuts to be very good. I would describe the shine as being more of a "Classic Chrome," - nothing outright blinding or extreme...and the finish appears to be great quality. I say this because they do not have a cheap (even fake), chrome-like veneer - it's the real deal. After installation and removal of these lug nuts, I wasn't able to see any noticeable scratching or marring. I thought the price on this set was outstanding! I know that just one replacement lug nut on my car was over 5 dollars at a store, so in comparison, this DPAccessories set is a champion for value, but also quality! My car looks so much better with these lug nuts on. It was a night and day difference I was willing to pay.

I returned mine. You may want to double check the compatibility, cross reference with another site or a forum or something. Anyhow, mine are great, and you may just want to cross reference before you purchase. Ya know - better safe than sorry! You might be extra sorry if your wheel falls off on the freeway!! I've only had them on a couple of weeks, and so far so good, not much to tell after a couple weeks. I will say that they fit well, they seem very sturdy, and they are nice and shiny! OEM Jaguar lugnuts are just crap..... tinfoil wrapped lug nuts which round out and then you have to cut them off. This solved that problem. Jaguar owners: these are the ones!

Needed a cheap priced set of lug nuts to replace the two piece garbage Ford put on their 2014 Fusions. They are a nice looking set and a perfect fit for the vehicle. They just don't have the shoulder step the original ones had. Time will tell how well the chrome plating will hold up, especially after a few tire rotations. So far so good.

My husband wanted to take a moment to point out our positive experience with these lug nuts to help other potential buyers. We own a 2009 Ford Fusion with about 110,000 miles on it (as of this review), which uses the 17" aluminum wheels so it has the "chrome" lug nuts. As with most factory lug nuts like these, for whatever reason they are two piece and over time rust builds up between the nut itself and the chrome cap. Eventually you will have trouble getting a socket on them and you will be in for a real treat getting the wheels off. Please do yourself a favor, and every once in a while check the fit with an appropriate sized socket on all your lug nuts and also check with the tool that comes in your trunk. The easiest time is when you are changing the oil or rotating your tires - if you notice ANY of them starting to be hard to fit a tool on or get stuck in the tool, replace them all ASAP. You WILL save headaches later. Here are the pictures he took during the replacement of the lug nuts, one is of the originals on the car, the other is the new lug nuts. Another is a side-by-side comparison. Finally is the box, excuse the finger prints this was after he worked on the car and the box was perfect on arrival. They are a slightly different shape but overall much better quality and fit, and also important is as some other reviewers have said, these are solid lug nuts - NOT a two piece like the original. I have a Ford Transit Connect and in Ford Spain’s ultimate wisdom, they decided to coat their lug nuts in a cheap metal that deforms after a couple turns of the lug wrench. What was a 19mm lug nut will now have the lug wrench spinning in vain- a terrible situation particularly if there’s a flat. Without the right tools I’d be stranded. These were recommended by Amazon as a direct replacement. I was a bit skeptical because they are longer and look slightly narrower at the top of the cone where the nut presses against the wheel. I contacted DP and they confirmed these are the correct nuts for the factory alloys on the vehicle. I put them on and they do the job. I was reminded of Ford’s terrible design because the 20th original nut would not come off, and with the help of the neighbor, a breaker bar, and a lot of swearing it finally spun. The factory nut is still wedged in my 19mm socket but thankfully this occurred from the comfort of my own garage, and did not leave me stranded on the side of the road. Thanks DP for a nice, reasonably priced product and the support to go with it.

Exactly what we needed to replace the current lug nuts! They are much better than the ones provided with the car because they don't have the casing over the outside that can expand and then make it impossible to take off. They have been made well and will hold up nicely.

These lug nuts are of very high quality. I have used them for several seasons and no rust at all.

These replace 14 year old worn out open end lug nuts on an old Honda Fit. These new closed end nuts fit perfectly and look great on bare black wheels. I smeared some clear grease on them to keep the rust away as winter comes. These should outlast the car.

Fit perfect and good price.

They appear to be of decent quality but they are a bit light compared to the original which are also smaller. Hope they don’t rust like the factory crap. Doubt these would hold up to an impact so use a breaker bar to remove and a torque wrench to install.

Given a 4 for durability as I can't give a full report on that until they have some time out in the elements. These though are good as they are solid, not the capped nuts crap that you find, this is the NUMBER 1 reason I bought these for the wife's car. Shipping took a little bit but it was right before Christmas so I can't knock them for that.
