Perfect for Razer Blade 2020 has massively helped with performance from the standard 16gb and was an absolute breeze to install, minimal difference noticed on a day to day task basis but high strain its be a good send yes it may be limited to the 2933mhz but realistically it does the trick.

If you're looking to buy, this is a great product. bought as I was gonna be cleaning my laptop fans anyway so why not double the RAM while I am in there. A few points for people thinking to buy: 1. This is DDR4 SODIM ram so make sure that your board is compatible 2. Some RAM is soldered in and cannot be replaced. 3. Lookup your laptop and find where the RAM is before you start (Youtube teardown videos are usually good) 4. Check how many RAM sockets you have as some laptops only have 1. you most likely have 2 Before you start: 1. Remove any wool or nylon clothing (static is a huge killer of laptops) 2. Remove any headphones or things dangling down 3. make sure your work area is as clear as possible and you have a small pot for any screws To install: 1. After locating the RAM slots you will see 2 silver (or black) clips, one either side of the chip. Gently pull these out to the side until the old RAM chip pops up. 2. Remove the old chip and put it somewhere safe (avoid anything that can conduct static) 3. Remove the new stick out of its packaging, avoid touching the golden teeth (not the end of the world if you do, just good practice). 4. Insert the RAM into the socket at a 45 degree angle making sure to line up the gap in the bottom to the notch in the socket. 5. gently press down until you hear the lips click into place. While you're in there you may as well give the fans a clean. remove as much dust as you can, Compressed air and/or a microfiber brush is good for this.

Acabo de comprar estos 64GB DDR4 para mi viejo Dell XPS 15 9560, y de momento parece que funciona. Las especificaciones del portátil decían que sólo soporta hasta 32GB de RAM, pero me puse a investigar y resulta que el procesador soporta hasta 64GB. Y algunos foros especializados así lo confirmaban. Mi procesador es un i7-7700HQ. Y el chipset de la placa base es el Intel HM175. Además, mi placa base utiliza memoria DDR4 2400MHz. Me arriesgue comprando esta de 3200 porque es más barata. Y afortunadamente también funciona. No ha sido necesario hackear la BIOS para forzar una velocidad compatible. En mi portátil se ha ajustado automáticamente a 2400MHz. Es decir, una frecuencia menor que lo máximo que soporta la memoria, pero lo compensa con que disminuye los ciclos a CL17, haciendo que la velocidad efectiva sea la misma. Le he pasado el memtest un rato y parece que es estable. (Si en vuestro ordenador el ajuste de la velocidad no es automático quizás necesitéis usar programas como modGRUBShell.efi o setup_var.efi). Crucial también vende una memoria de 2666MHz para Mac que aunque no lo especifique también sirve para PC. Y venden la versión de 2400MHz, pero es mucho más cara. Mucha gente dice que es innecesario poner tanta memoria, pero debe ser gente que sólo usa el ordenador para hacer chorradas. A poco que lo uses para trabajar o estudiar utilizando programas de simulación, 3D, máquinas virtuales... necesitas mucha memoria, y 64GB vienen muy bien, de hecho nunca es suficiente. Hoy en día hay portátiles con 128GB de RAM y PCs con mucho más. A Amazon le recomendaría que enviase la memoria en un paquete más resistente, no en un sobre de cartón que se puede doblar y partir, estamos hablando de un producto que cuesta 130€. Espero que me dure mucho tiempo.
