As long as there is sun this little fountain does a fantastic job! It does not store power and completely stops when the sun goes away, but the set up is super easy and it works exactly as designed. Very happy with my purchase and its price.

Absolutely love this product so far. I have this set up in a bird bath that is partly in the shade during the day, but also still gets sunlight. It works amazing when it gets full sun, so if you have one in full sun it work a lot better, but I am very happy with how it works even for me with some shade, even though it just does spurts in the shade. It definitely works well. When it is in full shade, it doesn't work, but I don't expect it to, it really needs the sun to work consistently. I would buy this again anytime!

It does its intended purpose but the pump piece sits crooked underneath because the battery pack is in the way. This causes it anti spray up at an angle. I didn’t want to force it as it would have broken. It is a great addition to my bird bath though! The more I hooked it underwater, the more it sprayed out. It has great water pressure when you do shake it.

I purchased this for a bird bath that my daughter got me for mothers day. It has various fittings for the water fountain so you can choose which one you prefer best. It has been outside for a few weeks and is working perfectly. The fountain sprays higher when there is full sun on it but still works even when the area is shaded. It looks really pretty, is very well priced and I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a pretty cool item. It was easy to set up. It started working immediately. In full sun. However, it ran dry within 15 minutes because of a 10 mph breeze. I kept refilling it but finally gave up. If I were to try it again, I would use the bubbler attachment instead of the fountain one in windy situations. I also had it in partial sun, so it kept stopping, which I was expecting. I'm disappointed, of course, because when it works, it works well!

After doing research, 1) I made sure to have a deep enough bird bath. 2) Made sure to use the plastic sticks to keep it centered, so it wouldn't move over to the edge and splash out all the water out of the bird bath. 3) I'm making sure to clean out the water at least every other day to keep it clean of debris. That said, the birds love it and are playing in it. Also, I read so many reviews saying it won't work unless it's in full 100% sunshine. So it *does* gurgle and burble a bit in dapple shade and overcast days. It's not at the same as when it's in full sun and going great, but it's still a little something and even the burples of water still attract birds. My front porch seems so cozy now with the little fountain in the birdbath. Can't wait to see how many birds it attracts, and if I'll see some hummingbirds too. So glad not to have batteries to deal with, or electric cords, etc. Definitely more action than before with just the regular bird bath.

This is an inexpensive option for a patio fountain. I have mine floating in a large pot with a few large decorative rocks. It works best in full sunlight but, even without full sun, it provides a bit of bubbling water. Good for the price! No cords and no batteries to fuss with.

Hopefully this helps someone! This product DOES NOT WORK IN THE SHADE. 100% it quits working if it’s not in DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Otherwise, it’s great. I set up my bird bath right next to my home so it’s constantly in the shade and the motor on the fountain won’t run so I have to use it in my backyard where the sun will be hitting it all day (south facing), and I had to purchase a plug in fountain where I planned on using this one so…yeah. Make sure you’re aware of that before purchasing. I have a solar powered set of lights that get charged by the sun and then turn on and off during the time of day. This fountain is not set up like that unfortunately; it’s very simple. When it is working, it’s really cute and the water pressure is perfect for a small to medium size bird bath and it’s nice that it comes with multiple spraying nozzles so you can choose how you want it to look. When I placed it out in direct sun the little birds were coming up to check it out so the sound of running water does attract them! I recommend it if you plan to have your bird bath in DIRECT SUNLIGHT all day.

It's working fine . I love it . The birds have also started coming.

This item is excellent. The fountain is around 1 feet high. Highly recommended and the birds love it.

I liked the durability and design and also the working of this. Please keep in mind that this is a Chinese product that works purely on solar energy. If it doesn't work somehow doesn't mean it's faulty it might be the case of less sunlight availability. So do check it in full sunlight for optimum performance.
