Hospitals use this Sponge. It’s universally trusted and I see why.
The Only brand I trust and is used in hospitals. I use it for a stomach peg tube. This bandage is a necessity now -because it works so well. The Soft sponge fabric has excellent absorption and is just the right texture and stiffness to apply around the peg tube. What makes it so versatile is its 6-ply design. Where you can choose to use all 6-ply's, or use only what is desired for absorption. For myself, I use 3-ply’s under the peg tube tab, to absorb liquid. Then i place the other 3-ply’s on top as a cosmetic clean cover, so any slight discharge is not visible. Anyway, i can also easily cut the 4x4 inch bandage to 2x2 with a scissor. Since the layers are stacked, And not accordion layered. I use 3M Micropore Surgical tape to secure it, just like the hospital staff uses.
