Moly Dry Lube dries to a dark rich finish which is the feature of the product.
Moly Dry Lube provides a surface rich in molybdenum which acts to reduce friction in operating parts metal on metal. It dries with a dark finish which is a FEATURE, not a DEFECT, and should not be confused with carbon black residue created from gunpowder ignition. As a specified lubricant in military metal magazines to reduce the deposit of dust, sand, mud, etc in magazines its the preferred solution for long term use reducing the frequent maintenance oils and greases would cause in high dust environments. This includes the frequently neglected magazine tubes of shotguns, too. The consumer who chooses this should note the dark color IS the lubrication being left, NOT powder residue, and apply it on CLEAN surfaces they know will not contaminate the product film.

What I was looking for
Works just fine. Not very pleased about the black film when it first come out but it seems to disappear when I resize my brass.

Dry spray moly lube
Dries well and leaves a film of lube behind. I use it to lube the receiver extension and recoil spring. Watch what you're doing and it wont make a mess. Get careless and you'll be wearing it.

Solid product
Good for lubing parts in a firearm where you dont want residue to collect, like it would with a wet lube.

Off-label usage - embossing solution for lower powered diode laser engravers!
Didn't use it as a lubricant but as a laser marking spray. Tried to etch a steel theatre sword using tempera paint as a heat concentrator. Unacceptable results. Redid it with this spray and it worked!

Bon pour transfer laser
Marche tres bien pour faire un transfert laser avec diode de 5w, fait sur stainless, 300mm/m 100% Moin cher que les cannette spécialisés, résultat très respectable.
