Yup! A GREAT TOOL for bookbinders!
Perfect for trimming signatures! And I’ve use same for clay too. This set comes in a plastic pouch that was already compromised when I received it. I created sheaths from card stock to protect against accidental cuts.

Arrived as expected!
Initially, they're quite sturdy, but time will tell with the housings with future usage. They work quite well! I use them to fix trim my greenware at leather hard, and the blade sharpness works great for now!

Useful tools
Unusual tool. Had read this tool could be used in bookbinding. The price was excellent for an unknown type tool for a bookbinder and multimedia artist to try. I haven’t used these. The appearance leads me to think there are many uses for these tools in all my art. My husband, a woodcrafter, wants a set. He saw applications in his work for them. Buyer beware. If you are as unaware as we were as to the use of these tools in pottery work, they are quite sharp along one edge! We will be buying more for gifts for fellow artists.

It got the job done..
1- These fettling knifes got the job done, however not the best quality. Longevity of this item seems iffy. Not bad for a quick fix and a couple of uses. 2- Thanks for the quick shipping!
