I liked is its power. It picks up dirt that gets trapped deep in the carpet fibers, even those small crumbs and hairs that other smaller vacuums tend to leave behind. Even with all that power, it’s surprisingly quiet, which I appreciate when I clean early in the morning without waking everyone up. The design is classic and sturdy. the wheels make it easier to move, and the handle is comfortable. The cloth bag is large, so I don’t have to empty it every week, which is a relief when you have kids or pets. Another plus is that maintenance is simple: change the bag, clean the brush, and that’s it. Nothing complicated.

This vacuum is backed by top quality carpet manufacturing companies and used by many professional carpet cleaning companies.. so I had to buy one.. works great and doesn’t whip up the wool carpet.. many settings for every type of carpet

It works very well on my rugs and tile love the bag feature to filter the air. My home don't smell dusty after using it!! The cord is almost long enough to do the whole house on one plug Might just use a different outlet the next time. Only complaint is the clamp that holds the cord already broke all by itself just sitting here. Only have the top clamp and it's not very sturdy either and cord is heavy. May have to improvise and use a 'S' hook to hold it? Shame it being brand new! Also would have been nice to receive a couple of extra bags with the machine. Only one belt was included. I understood the vac was made in Mexico but there is sticker on underside saying it's made in China. It sure beats the canister vac with the hose that kept coming apart and had the nasty job of emptying the dirt canister then clean the filter. update well only used the vacuum twice and now the foot pedal is jammed and won't release so can't use the vac at all a shop wants 50 to service it. will be returning it

One test rated this vacuum at 110% cleaning ability because it cleaned dirt that the reviewer thought he'd cleaned out already plus the dirt that was added for the test (by weight). This vacuum is no joke. It's lightweight but that doesn't matter; the thing sucks and beats the rugs so aggressively it's like pushing rubber on rubber. Though this makes it not easy to push, that's physics, folks....no free lunch. Find something else to clean a cat litter polluted tile floor because it sends the litter flying all over. No attachments here, so you can buy some other stand-alone unit to do that (dust buster, etc.).

Easy to assemble. I have a hard time with vacuums either breaking belts or just not have the suction power to pick anything up. I chose this one because of the metal parts and the hope that the old fashion design meant it has been around long enough that I won't have any problems with it. The suction is AMAZING! I have carpet throughout my entire house, including one of my bathrooms. The belt has not broken yet and that is great because the moment I turned on my last vacuum, the belt broke. Another plus is the roller is easy to clean. I have two teenage girls that have long hair like me, so you can only imagine the amount of hair I have to take off of the roller and having to clean the roller every time I vacuum a room. The only problem I have had so far is the top plastic cord holder broke. So, I will need to find a replacement because it holds the bag upright as well.

We use these vacuums at our school and they work so much better and last longer than some other more expensive brands. I highly recommend.

While the vacuum is easy to assemble and works well, both bolts on the handle keep vibrating loose! It is a pain to have to keep retightening them; yesterday the upper bolt came totally loose and I lost it! I had to shove a pencil through the hole to keep the handle together and finish the job!! Argh!!

Purchased it specifically for residential new wall-to-wall 'wool' carpeting per recommendation. Very heavy vaccum with unnecessary super long cord. Difficult to assemble (parts are rigid-aluminum tubing, plastic clamps) and dissasemble. Couldn't find the power on/off button -not in the manual. The lever to disengage the handle to move the vaccuum gets stuck. Not a good value for the money at all.

I use it for Office cleaning and I like everything about this vacuum cleaner especially the changeable bag. I am slowly changing all my vacuum cleaners to new ones already bought six and will be getting seven or eight more couldn’t think of a better vacuum for the job.
