I was a bit skeptical since these didn't come with instructions, and at first glance, they seemed like they were going to be a pain to install. However, I figured out a trick that makes it much easier: just push the inner tube forward, install the diaphragm through the vacuum opening at the front, and then pull it back into place. Once I got it seated, I was seriously impressed. My pool cleaner started working perfectly right away, and what’s even better is that it actually operates at a lower vacuum pressure than my previous one. It’s moving with more "vigor" than the original part ever did. If you’re tired of overpaying for name-brand replacements that don't last, this is a fantastic alternative. Great value, works perfectly, and I highly recommend it as a replacement part!

If you have a Zodiac pool vacuum with a bad diaphragm. These work great! I was skeptical because the price was too good to be true but... They were a perfect fit and work as good as the ones you buy at your local pool store for 3 times the price. Even if I only get one season out them, I'll be happy. Little hack. When installing the new one make sure the opening is clean and use just a little Vaseline on the snorkel end to help it slide through the hole easily. You'll save yourself alot of time and frustration. Great product for the money.

Great product, works as intended. Been using this replacement part, same supplier for 10+ years in my Zodiac Barracuda G3 ‘s. Last installed 2024, 15 months later no issues, working great. Just bought another set due to a tear caused by a foreign object. But this time I caught the culprit. A clear eyeglass lens still stuck inside the diaphragm. Naysayers beware, that tear you blame on the product may have been a foreign object, twigs, jagged rocks, anything with a rough edge that was just small enough to eventually fit through. Highly recommend.

This is a "more or less" exact replacement for the OEM Jacuzzi G3 Pool Cleaner part. It is just ever so slightly larger, but with a little cajoling it fit in the hole. I will say that they allow a little more space around the tube to diaphragm interface, where the retaining ring is, so fitting the diaphragm over the tube was much easier than with the OEM part. So, in that way it's actually better that the previous part I bought at Leslie's Pool Supply; and WAY cheaper! In fact, because I bought this kit, I got two diaphragms for less that the cost of one OEM from Leslie's. As far as function goes, my little Barracuda G3 is now happily pounding away cleaning the pool again, so I'm happy with it. Time will tell (and I'll update it) if the longevity is there too. So, bottom line, I'd say buy it with confidence.

My pool man just told me I needed to replace the diaphragm in my Zodiac pool cleaner and said it was $75 for him to sell me one and he had one in his truck. I said No Thanks. I can get them for $5 each. He said BUT they are not name brand, quality like what I sell. I said, they are better than the name brand as proven by the fact that this diaphragm that came with the Zodiac is barely over a year old already needs replacement. I am not spending $75 a year to replace these little rubber pieces that are easily installed without any experience or skill. Even if my $5 diaphragm only lasts a year, that still saves me $70 a year! Furthermore, reading the reviews here, it seems these diaphragms are actually built better and will likely last 3+ years. I recommended my pool guy open his eyes to alternatives away from the OEM to offer his customers a better product, a choice and he can make a bigger profit by offering more than just OEM. In the end, I declined the work and the price. Put my $5 diaphragm in and I'll follow this review up when/if the day comes when its time to replace it and see how it actually compared to the OEM. I figure it should last at least a year and for $5 vs $75, it makes no sense to me why anyone would pay more unless it came with a 10 year free-replacement warranty. Save your money and buy this! It's better than the OEM no matter what your pool guy says. He's just trying to make a sale - that's his job.
