What is the clear piece that came inside?

The clear piece is to put behind each sheath of paper when drawing/colouring so marker ink does not soak through to the next page.

Because the pages are perforated do they fall out easily? If I didn’t want to rip a page out would they stay put?

The books are made to a very high standard with excellent quality materials and pages are very secure and wont come out unless torn off at the perforated marks
