WOODEN VENETIAN BLIND WHITE WITH TAPES REAL WOOD 50MM SLATS MADE TO MEASURE (White, 180 cm Width x 120cm Drop)

Was a little worried from the mixed reviews, but as I couldn't find ready made blinds for a very large window thought I'd give them a go - they are GREAT! Lovely quality and thickness, cut perfectly and took less than ten minutes to put up.

This is a superb wooden slatted venetian blind. The quality is great. It was delivered within three days of ordering and was so easy to fit.

Blind was beautiful and arrived on time. But no fitting instructions in the box. It was too wide for the recess once the fittings were in place although my measurements were correct. I contacted the company to ask them for the fitting instructions, in case I was at fault, and all I got back was a link to a YouTube video, no message at all. In the end I had to modify the blind to get it to fit. I was going to buy 3 other blinds from this company but given their unhelpful attitude I will take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed. Also, It seems that if you are fitting inside the window recess you should secure the fittings to the top/underside of the recess but if you have a metal lintel this may not be possible. So beware of this before buying.

First things first The quality of these blinds are second to non. The fit and finish is excellent and the mechanism for lowering, raising, locking and tilting the blind is silky smooth and nothing like some of the cheap tat you might get from DIY shops etc. My only gripe and it might be that I'm the only one, is that I would've liked a few notes/instructions for fitting, don't get me wrong, I have fitted venetian, roller and vertical blinds in the past. I struggled for a couple of minutes trying to work out which way the end caps/brackets fitted to the lintel. I eventually sussed it out along with the middle support bracket which was self evident. As my blinds were custom cut to fit my window I thought for a while that the extra piece of wood/lath that was in the box was just an unused piece of the blind, it was only when I showed my brother in law my handiwork that he pointed out that that odd lath was actually decorative trim to cover the box/mechanism when done. I suspect that it would not have fitted very well after I had finished (don't get me wrong, it looks great without the trim fitted). Also I think that if you wanted to remove the blind for decorating you are gonna have a problem as the trim is fitted to the blind mechanism with 3M adhesive pads, and they ain't gonna want to let go. Regardless of all those minor niggles I really really like these blinds, especially the smoothness of the mechanism and would recommend them at the drop of a hat. (Edit) Yesterday i pulled the cord to angle the slats down and as I did so the mechanism seemed to jump a few gears and now I can only adjust the blinds partially (I cannot rotate then fully in the opposite direction. I was wondering if the manufacturer or someone with experience could possibly tell me how to reset them?

Blinds have a design fault. I ordered wide blinds and was supplied with one single piece of string to to act as a pull cord to lift them up and down. Clearly that's not going to work well as they are wooden heavy blinds. No complaints other than that. Ok if you don't need to lift blinds up and down. I did so it was a problem. As a result I messaged seller couldn't come to arrangement. Seller offered to send out another another piece of string to attatch to the blind cord. So basically for me to repair the fault without taking responsibility. Only offered a refund if I followed the returns procedure, but not offered money back to get a workman to take blinds down to send back. Opened a case and waiting for refund. Purchase with caution. It would be ok if blinds are small one piece of string for a cord but if blinds are heavy it will cause problems.
