This lab book is a life saver. It is a must have for any advance practice health provider. It is great for nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students and medical students. This book breaks down all the labs you will encounter.

Doesn’t have everything, but good explanation for the testing it does have in it! Great for primary care and school

For me, this is the key between great books and outstanding, well-crafted books…such as this one.The algorithms and the steps approach make it easy to understand and use in a daily basis. For sure, this is going to be in my lab coat for the rest of my intern year!!

Nice concise book to use or refer to in daily practice

1st book that came in had missing pages in the index. Amazon took back and sent another. 2nd book has all its pages and I absolutely love this book. It is a major part of my references

At first glance, this looks like any other guide to labs, but once one you start introducing it in patient-care is where this book really starts to shine. The organization of steps and relevant information that this book has is amazing, and it allows you to learn the management in the most didactic way possible. I cannot emphasize how happy I am with this book, highly recommend it.

I have a previous edition of this book that is pictured in right side of the picture. It fits in my pocket. This newer edition is bigger in size and double the thickness of the previous edition and will not fit in your pocket.
