I bought the 2oz size. The design adds a little something extra. They are small and perfect for individual dips, sauces or even trou norman. I have larger sizes that I bought from Sur la table years ago and these match them perfectly! They would also make a cute gift. I would recommend.

I saw that someone had rated this badly because the bowls were small. I knew from that comment and the dimensions that it would be perfect for my purpose which is appetizer size portions. The bowls hold approx. 1/2 cup of liquid. The dimensions were listed, but not the volume they hold. Perhaps this information might have been a helpful addition to the description.

I've used them several times for dinner parties. They go right through the dishwasher. Everyone thinks they are cute. Would buy again

I use these to serve lobster bisque, clam chowder, cheese soup. When just a smaller portion is needed, these bowls are great!

We saw these mini bowls used extensively in France, so when we returned home, I found these on Amazon and was delighted. Yes, before purchasing be sure you know how small these are! However, we saw them used in France for many things, including "nuts" with drinks before dinner; small soup portions for a pre-dinner course; and soft cheese for appetizers. I have used to put out various nibbles pre-dinner and expect to use them often over the holiday entertaining season. The quality is good - it's really a question of understanding the size prior to purchasing. I am delighted with mine.

These bowls are not true to the size that was listed. They are very tiny. I had 4 of the size that matched the size listed but these are much smaller. If the size is right for you the product is good. Much too small for what I wanted to use them for. I kept them anyway. Disappointed.

Come on folks! These bowls, if you can even call them bowls, hold about 4 ounces - MAXIMUM - They are VERY TINY. It is a challenge to even get a round soup spoon in the "bowl". They are without a doubt of excellent quality and I love the Lionshead raised figures on each side but I am at a loss as to what I could actually us 10 of these for - possibly for individual dipping containers - that you would have to constantly refill? I do love this line and will seek out other items but I will be very careful to shop based on actual capacity and not get carried away by the delightful design. Bummer - Michele
