A little smaller than expected - but exactly as described and the included application needle things work perfectly. The music box movement I used it on is now running about 50% faster, which I think is how fast it should be going. BTW: Don't ask chatGPT to draw on an image where to oil things... it basically told me the right thing in text, but then circled the areas it said NOT to oil.

This brand has been around forever and is the best clock oil out there. I love the two different size needles for very controlled oiling.

I have used on 2 different clocks , First the applicator works great it puts the right amount of oil in the exact place and the oil works great . I now have 2 working very nice clocks

Tried to oil an old clock and it worked a little better after it. It still needed to be taken apart and cleaned.

I needed to oil and old music box that no longer worked because it needed oil. I'm not a clock repair person so I did not realize that truly "a little dab will do ya". I didn't put on a lot of oil, but in hindsight I probably used too much, now the music box plays but since it has like zero friction it seems to play TOO fast! Eventually over time it will slow down to a better pace as dust accumulates. So lesson learned it add a VERY small amount at a time, like one drop to an area then test, repeat until it works.

I bought a 1992 Ridgeway Grandfather clock at a public sale for $55. The clock looked like it hadn't been running for several years. The clock time worked, however the chimes didn't. Doing some online research I decided the clock needed some cleaning and oiling. I ordered the Horace Whitlock clock oil based on the countless reviews and I liked it came with 2 23 gauge needle oilers. Take a good look at the product page and the 2 pics of the difference in size of the oil drops from a 23 gauge and a 18-20 gauge needle oiler (huge difference). I also liked it also came with a 3" needle oiler and not just the 1.5" oiler. It didn't look like I could readily remove the clock movement from the outer shell, so I had to do the best I could from the sides. I was skeptical ordering after reading a review of the oil bottle cracking and oil everywhere. I added a couple of pics showing the great job of packaging the oil for shipping. The one pic really shows the difference in length the 3" needle makes. The Horace Whitlock oil works like magic (hence my title - miracle drug). It really did the job. The tiniest drop on the pins, axles and movement and the chimes are now working to perfection. If you're here reading my review, don't hesitate any longer; Order this oil now. There's enough oil to last you many years to come. Now I have to oil my wife's mothers heirloom clock next.
