Carson Optical Clip and Flip 1.5X 2.25 Diopters Magnifying Lenses

I have two of these with different diopters. They help with reading, fiddling with small stuff and sewing. I have used them for plumbing and what a difference! I can see under the sink and fiddle with things. The larger diopters get heavy and if your glasses are a loose fit when you hold your head to look down your glasses could slip off, clip-ons and all. Also if you wear them for hours, as I am want to do, they do add pressure to the bridge of your nose and ear pieces of your regular glasses. Easy to clip onto existing glasses and they flip up for when you step away from your task-at-hand. I am able to do tasks that would otherwise need help with. It is so nice to be able to see, use both hands and do hobby work. I love these but watch for the clip-ons that have plastic arms at the bridge of the nose, the rubber-tipped metal arms are more secure.

After reading some of the negative/critical reviews, I hesitated to purchase these clip on lenses. Ultimately, I decided to go ahead and I'm glad I did. They fit over my glasses perfectly and provide just the right level of magnification for my stitching and bead work. I'm more than satisfied with them for the price I paid ($4.89 as an add-on item). I've used other products like this in the past and yes, the little rubber tip that covers the part of the clip that goes behind your eyeglass lenses can slip off. I used a prior pair long after this happened and my eyeglass lenses did not get scratched. The prior pair did eventually break at the clip but only after years of use. However, I didn't use them all day, every day and I was careful with them. Overall I think this is a good product that performs exactly as described and expected but I think usage can definitely be an issue. I wouldn't describe these clip on magnifiers as "heavy duty" or intended for constant use.

The magnification works great with my glasses. I actually use it to view my 7 inch tablet when watching videos. The only problem is the plastic section that connects the two lenses. It is formed too low, bumps the bridge of my nose and causes my glasses to be pushed up slightly. In addition, that section is sharp and does not follow the contour of the nose. I filed it to reduce the sharpness. Even with this problem it does work and was inexpensive.

These clip-on magnifying glasses are great! They are now a permanent fixture on the pair of glasses I keep at my desk. I am working frequently with jump rings to make chain mail and jewelry and my eyes aren't the greatest anymore. Where before I could be closing jump rings and think I did a decent job, with these clip-ons I can see what I am doing. And I can see that without them I really didn't do as good a job as I should have. Now I can do the job perfectly! I also have the 2x magnifying clip-ons for the even finer work. Very much recommended!

I got these as one of those add on products to get my order up to the level for free shipping. I did not expect much but thought the concept was good. These are great. I do a lot of close craft work, embroidery and beading, and they are great. They fit nicely on my glasses, are not heavy, the lenses are clear and provide a good coverage, and the clip seems sturdy enough. Easily flip up and get out of the way when you want to look away. All in all, a very nice product so far.

I bought these clip-on reading glasses for their low price, and after receiving them they even seem to be well constructed. However -- and this is the deal breaker -- they appear to use soft, un-coated (plastic) lenses, so they immediately scratch when you attempt to clean them. So, it does very little good to have a cheap pair of reading glasses that can be rendered pretty much useless by the simple act of cleaning them. But perhaps you think I clean plastic lenses incorrectly, or that I am abusive to them, but I am not: I have used plastic lensed glasses for the last twenty five years, and not ONE of these glasses has ever been scratched while being cleaned. These are VERY handy. Not sure why I waited so long to purchase these. I am near sighted but have needed bifocals for quite some time but I did not want to deal with the issues they bring. I do a lot of close up work when I repair mechanical and electronics and these will really help. These are not coated lenses but for the price I would not expect it. Even my coated eyeglasses scratch after a few months. I always try to use water to rinse off dirt before I touch the lens with a soft fiber cloth. They work great and should last long enough if taken care of. Should have bought a pair a long time ago.

I like these. I cannot easily afford to keep getting new glasses, so I use reading glasses. I have different focal lengths for reading and driving. This makes it easy for me to be able to use normal glasses for every day...driving etc... then just flip them down for reading or close up. I got several other focal lengths... for working up close, as I am a machinist... and need to magnify my work. This makes it real handy. Their nice lenses.

Surlunettes-loupes de qualité à un tarif très intéressant. Très pratique pour lire les livres imprimés en petits caractères. leur pose sur les lunettes est très aisée et la possibilté de les relever est une bonne chose, évitant ainsi de les retirer chaque fois que l'on veut faire autre chose que la lecture. Elles sont très légères et bien plus pratique qu'une loupe sur table. A conseiller.

Da ich Brillenträger bin, habe ich genau so etwas gesucht. Gerade wenn ich an meiner Brille oder an Uhren arbeiten möchte, wäre eine Lupe perfekt. Einfach auf die Brille setzen und schon kann ich die Feinheiten viel besser erkennen. In meinem Hobby-Keller ein ständiges Arbeitsgerät besonders schön die Funktion zum hoch klappen. Für mich ein ganz klares Daumen hoch 👍. Erfüllt perfekt seinen Zweck

Geniales... Yo uso gafas y están se ponen con el clip y a leer son cansarte la vista o ver Tablet o móvil sin esforzar la vista con la luz y demás. A corta distancia para leer coser o manualidades van geniales. Mi hermana también las usa y esta encantada. Para gente mayor muy cómodas. Económicas y resistentes. Con su funda para guardarlas.. Un buen detalle la funda.

Come tantissime altre persone che lavorano in campo informatico, sono impegnato molte ore al giorno davanti al PC. Ovviamente la pandemia con conseguente telelavoro ha appesantito la cosa (tutte le riunioni e le comunicazioni sono virtuali). Inoltre, a causa di una miopia pluridecennale, non mi è mai stato agevole lavorare alla distanza giusta dallo schermo. Queste lenti si sono rivelate totalmente risolutive ! Oltre a poter lavorare agevolemente senza affaticare la vista, c'è anche il vantaggio che, usandole sui propri occhiali, viene preservata la correzione personalizzata per ciascun occhio, quindi la visione è ottimale da ambedue i lati. Ormai le uso regolarmente per il lavoro. Sicuramente le consiglio a chiunque utilizzi un PC.
