This is one of those odd listings where the description and images don't do them justice. The package I received contained nice-quality brass rods without the discoloration shown in the images. And for those curious, because it doesn't say in the description, these are the sizes: 1/16 O.D. x 12" Length 3/32 O.D. x 12" Length 1/8 O.D. x 12" Length 5/32 O.D. x 12" Length 3/16 O.D. x 12" Length 7/32 O.D. x 12" Length 1/4 O.D. x 12" Length 9/32 O.D. x 12" Length 5/16 O.D. x 12" Length 11/32 O.D. x 12" Length 3/8 O.D. x 12" Length 13/32 O.D. x 12" Length

Neither the hardware store nor home center near me carry brass rod anymore. This is a decent price for a nice selection of assorted brass rod. Clean, straight. The package was slightly damaged and two rods fell out when I opened the envelope, but the rods themselves were undamaged. Overall very pleased.

There is no place in the description accurately indicating the size of these rods. The image showing the product in the package only has an incomplete label, and so does the single review with an image. In reading the top review from just a few weeks ago it seemed like I would be getting the following sizes: 1/16 O.D. x 12" Length 3/32 O.D. x 12" Length 1/8 O.D. x 12" Length 5/32 O.D. x 12" Length 3/16 O.D. x 12" Length 7/32 O.D. x 12" Length 1/4 O.D. x 12" Length 9/32 O.D. x 12" Length 5/16 O.D. x 12" Length 11/32 O.D. x 12" Length 3/8 O.D. x 12" Length 13/32 O.D. x 12" Length I needed specifically a 5/16 rod but unfortunately when I ordered this package the largest size was 3/16. I'm not sure how the entire contents of this item were changed, or if this page and reviews migrated to another product number. In case this helps anyone else, these were the diameters of the rods I received in my package: .020 1/32 3/64 1/16 3/32 1/8 5/32 3/16 .114 .081 .072 Other than that, the brass rods seem ok. Some light tarnishing that should polish off, and some are about 1mm longer than others which might require light machining or sanding depending on your use case

Package was split open at the top and at first I thought I was missing some rods but they are were all there. The package arrived in an Amazon box so I don’t know if this was a return or not. Have bought some specific brass rods from the company in the past but this time I find when I went to thread one it promptly broke off in the die. Tried it again and it broke, I found a piece of the older rod and that one threaded perfectly so not sure if they changed the brass formula and this batch is weaker or not.
