I use it for egyptian artefacts, to decrease humidity and it really does work. You need to place itnin small containers that seal well, than it will absorb humidity nearly instantly or within a few hours. It really does what it’s supposed to, nothing less, nothing more. The silica packs are well made and durable, and there’s lots of them, so you can make very good use of it. Very easy to use, comes in re-sealable bag.

Started storing clothes that don’t quite fit in a suitcase, so Bought these to help keep them fresh. Quite like that fact you can dry them out once the colour changes and reuse them, so will plan to check them now and then. So far so good.

Seemed to work well. The indicator beads did turn black. However could not reuse them. Put them in microwave as instructed (tried 3 times) but black beads remained black.
