Do I mix this with water or something else like juice? Can I split it up for morning and afternoon uses?

Great question!  Ideally mixing Magnesol with the juice of 1/2 a lime, or lemon will help neutralize the bitter taste of the magnesium.  This is because Magnesol is one of the purest forms of magnesium supplements on the market, free from any artificial sugars, flavoring, additives, caffeine, or coloring.  To assist those who have a sugar intolerance, even natural sweeteners have been eliminated from this product.  Therefore, mix with your favorite juice or drink (or even soup) to make it more palatable.  Magnesium Chloride is one of many magnesium supplements on the market, but in contrast to many other types (for instance magnesium oxide), the bioavailability is much higher (> 80%).  This is another way of saying that the body will absorb much of the magnesium in the supplement, whereas with some supplements the absorption rate can be as little as 3%.  Being in powder form, the absorption is even higher (no pill casing to interfere).Since each person is so very different, it is important to experiment with taking magnesium at different times under different circumstances. For me, this works to prevent cramps, but this is not proven by science.
