I have a bunch of vinyl windows that were squealing when I put them up or down. So loud and annoying. I would wake up my wife every time no matter how slow I tried to go. They also are hard to raise and lower needing some force to do either. A few sprays on this on each side along the guides and rails and BAM no more noise and they open and close with a single finger. Amazing change. No residue after it dries and has lasted over a year through rain and snow without losing any of it effectiveness over that time. My suv's hatch back gate (whatever its called) was making squeaking noises whenever it opened and closed. Looked up the car forums and many suggest using silicone lubricant as its more friendly to rubber and plastic. Sprayed a piece of towel paper then applied it along the piston (or whatever it called). Also spray some to the hinges. Opened and closed the hatch and it was noticeably less squeaky. Opened and closed a few more times and the squeaks disappeared. Hope it lasts long.

This is a special silicone based lubricant, not your regular WD-40. I bought it specifically to lubricate the control cables on my motorcycle as it does not remain wet and sticky, so it will not attract dust and dirt to the cables and other exposed moving parts. It is working well and I am sure I will find many more uses for it.

a realy good spray -but,may have try to overspray--you may have to spray on rag after clean rubber or metal and wipe on than wait a few mins before using..paul no odor also

I like that the straw is built in with the sprayer. I use a lot of the regular WD40 when I am in my garage to lubricate moving parts but I needed the silicone lubricant when using it when in contact with rubber materials.

Used this for the first time the other day when I changed pool filters and screwed the key back on filter casing. Easy to use. Really like the spray and handle.

Great product to have in the garage! I use it all the time on my lawn equipment every time after I use them! I also use it to polish my mail box! It dries quickly and it does not stain the cement floor! I buy them by the 6-pack!
