My hair has just started to grow back after I lost it all to chemotherapy and it came back silver. I'm 75 and never dyed my hair in any crazy colors but it's coming back in as I said all white and so I decided to fool around with it a bit. I used mostly green and purple and got a lot of compliments from it. And it's great because all you have to do is just wash it out and go right back to looking 75. I'm going to buy a bigger set from the same company that has two shades of every color light and dark. If you want some fun in your life and you have light colored hair this is the way to go!

Does not show up on my daughter’s hair and leaves the hair feeling gross. Had to shampoo multiple times to get the greasy feeling out of her hair then her hair was dry feeling like straw once dry. Waste of money and time.

If you wet your hair this chalk will hold onto it and will change your color. I love it. Lots of fun. It is not dye so eventually it starts to wear off. Only downside is that it rubs off on my pillowcases when I sleep.

Definitely not the pop of color as pictured but they are easy to use and my 7 yr old daughter can use them herself. Shows up decently on her lighter blonde hairs but not at all on my brown hair. We really like the comb shape of these versus just the chalk crayon shape type.

I bought it for my husband’s sister who is a teen. She loves it! She used it on my hair which is course and blonde. It felt like some hair was being pulled out from the chalk being drugged down it, it could have been because the amount of pressure she used to comb it down my hair so I would suggest using a lighter touch if doing it to someone else’s hair. My hair was clumpy afterwards but it washed out easily and the kids had fun.

Not chalk textured it is like a soft texture. It is hard to use, comes apart easily and breaks easily, not very pigmented.

This was a present for our niece. She's had chalk for hair before but not of this quality. The colors are varied and true to color. They show up on hair with a vibrant hue. It actually colors even darker hair really well. It washes out of fabrics easily. She happily added color to her hair, mine, her mom's, her uncle's and her little brothers lol dad wouldn't cooperate :) and all of us could clearly see color in our hair. Range of hair was dark brown to very light blonde. The color brushes fit well in a child's hands and they are as simple to use as a regular comb or brush. She has used these several times and they are holding up really well; not crumbling and don't seem to use alot up. I would guess these would last several month's at least even with weekly use. I would note that on super light blonde hair like her little brother's and very light gray/silver like grandma's it will take two shampoos to remove color completely. Based on quality, ease of use, selection of colors and their vibrancy I would highly recommend this set for anyone that wants to add temporary colors to their hair; whatever their age. I have several 20 somethings that report to me at work and regularly have various streaks of bright colors in their hair, I recommended these and 2 of the girls bought them and love them. If our niece's interest remains in coloring her hair I'd buy her another set if these once the 1st oneis used up without a 2nd thought.

Do not purchase this, especially if you’re trying to amuse your 3 year old. My daughter was so excited to get her “hair dye.” She’s brunette and it does NOTHING. I’ve followed the instructions thoroughly and it doesn’t color her hair for anything. It just leaves a slight trail of clumpy chalk with no color. The shades are also not as vibrant as the photos make it seem, it’s very dull. I’ve resulted to removing them out of the combs to keep my daughter happy regardless of it being crap quality.

Color Doesn’t show on brown hair

Worst hair chalk I’ve ever used. Made my hair look and feel so disgustingly greasy. Hard to apply, hard to remove, very tiny and overpriced. Don’t buy.
