Could not have survived hip surgery without this. Easy to use and worked great. Left in fridge when not in use, grab it when needed and it's cold. Comes with straps too.

I have used this for a week now. I was afraid the size would be too big. But it actually wraps around where it’s supposed to. I like the fit. Yes, if you freeze it, you have to let it sit out for at least 15 minutes before it’s playable. (Sp) . Stays cold for the recommended time ,(20 minutes).

Got this for after my total hip replacement. It’s a good product and works well. I give it 4 stars because the material is not soft on the skin. Also, the leg strap goes through a buckle and it’s hard to put on and take off when you can hardly stand or bend at the waist. The other ice pack I ordered from another brand has the leg strap velcro directly on the pack. I came to really appreciate this after surgery.

This worked really well after my hip replacement surgery. It is a great size that I used in two different ways, for pain and swelling at my hip and also down by my knee.It stays cold for a long time and refreezes fast for the next use. This ice pack wrap is something I will be able for more than just hip pain. It is made very well for years of use.

This is an awesome concept, it fits over my entire hip well (I'm a petite, 115lb gal) from the bottom of the incision to the top of it. And stays in place when walking with it on. It could be a great product if a wicking cloth type cover (like a soda can cover material) was included to go over the gel pack. As this warms up, it "sweats" (dripping) and gets everything wet.... clothes and furniture. I had to wrap a hand towel around it to absorb the water. A similar item I received from the hospital came with such a cover and has been wonderful to use after my hip replacement. This item might be better just refrigerated or in the freezer for a quick chill, but don't let it get frozen at all. I hadn't thought about a cover when I looked into these prior to purchasing it before the surgery. Unfortunately, I won't recommend this particular brand, but if you don't need a cover or only want to refrigerate it, this could be just what you are looking for!

Purchased to use immediately following hip replacement surgery. Hospital provided a pair of ice pads but they weren't adequate for covering the swollen area. The MAGIC GEL HIP ICE PACK WRAP AFTER SURGERY is large enough to cover and and reduce swelling. Because the swollen area was longer than it was wide, I removed the straps and placed the MAGIC GEL HIP ICE PACK along the side of my hip and upper thigh. It might have been important to use the straps if I was icing while walking; but I only applied the HIP ICE PACK during intervals of rest. It gets cold quickly when laid flat in the freezer. I used a frozen pizza box for stability. The GEL HIP ICE PACK stayed ice cold far longer than intermittent ice therapy required. I used it every couple of hours, but the ICE PACK was frozen and ready to use within an hour in the freezer. The cover is water resistant and easy to wipe off with a damp or wet sponge (reserved for the use). The bright purple fabric and fuschia trim made it seem more fun than therapeutic, though ice therapy after hip replacement is essential for managing discomfort and swelling. Highly recommend the MAGIC GEL HIP ICE PACK WRAP AFTER SURGERY. Haven't tried it yet but I am certain it's just the right size and shape for soothing my next bachache.

Great ice pack for post operative phase of a hip replacement surgery. I’ve used it and my wife used it and we loved it. Buy two to rotate out while one freezes back up

Best purchase I’ve ever made. Required for recuperation after hip surgery. Easy to put on, holds cold longer than 30 minutes. Would purchase again

Hace un año pedí la normal, todo bien. Se adapta bien, cinchas correctas y era más o menos amplia. Este año, debido a una cirugía, decidí coger la extragrande, y la acabo de devolver ya que, a pesar de tener mejores acabados (por un lado es como de pelito), el tamaño es, de hecho, más pequeño que el normal. Por lo que si os importa el tamaño y lo que buscáis es una bolsa grande, es mejor que cojáis la normal.

This ice pack has been so helpful after hip surgery. I highly recommend it. The pack forms nicely on the hip area and the large velcro straps secure it perfectly.
