It has a clean, masculine scent that is definitely noticeable when you first apply it, but it isn't "perfumey" or overwhelming. I found that the strength of the scent is directly tied to how much product you use—if you use a small amount for a messy look, it stays subtle. If you use more for a tighter style, the scent lingers nicely throughout the day. Hold & Texture This is a true matte product. There is zero shine, which is exactly what I want in a clay. I'm getting old. My father and ancestors up his bloodline were all as bald as an egg in their thirties, and I've no idea of the men of my mothers bloodline.
