Great Knife Highly Recommend!
*UPDATE* After carring around for almost a year now, im very use to this knife I don't worry about accidental deployment as much because it just feels second nature to me. The pocket clip is by far the sturdyest pocket clip on any knife I have carried even pricier knives don't compare. I would deffently recommend!!! Extremely sharp and reliable. I like the thumb disc better than a thumb stud after getting used to it. The knife feels to be better quality than the price tag feels a tad heavy in your hand which can be a good or bad thing given your preference. It has a very sturdy feel. The wave feature is amazing. Need to be a little careful when pulling it from your pocket at the end the day because of accidental deployment. But once, use to wave feature this knife is great.

Incredible Value.
I own too many knives. This thing is sharp, solid, and feels good in your hand. Everything is tight and doesn't wiggle around. The liner lock needs to be respected and care needs to be taken when closing the blade. As of the time of this review I have cut my finger twice. But that's not this knifes fault. Scorpions are designed to sting. This knife was designed to cut through things with no regards to your feeble understanding of physics. This knife does not care about your feelings. With out a doubt one of the best purchases I've made in a very long time.

My favorite pocket knife
Last year I went on a search for a good pocket knife since I like always having one on me for work. Tried 4 different brands. The tanto blade is easy to sharpen, the lockup is still tight and has held up being used as a pry bar throughout. I have a lot of the husky Tantos as well in my cars and throughout my house. For edc though something a little nicer is nice. This knife is nice, but still cheap enough I won’t be sad if I lose it. Only issue I have is the belt clip loosening. I put them back in with Loctite but they have loosened again over a half a year. Perhaps if they machined it in so it couldn’t wiggle somehow or tabbed it, idk. Small issue though for an otherwise great knife. Would recommend locktiting those asap though.

Excellent knife for the price!
It works really nicely, everything is perfect except for a few minor things. The construction is awesome and it feels great in the hands. The wave function is super handy, and it works every time. It does take a little effort to do it right (you have to pull it out at the right angle for it to catch, so if you don't want it to flip open, it won't). The blade is finished nicely (it is wearing off at the cutting edge after a lot of heavy use, but still looks good) and the scales feel great. The clip is really tight, but it's nice because it doesn't move at all when it's not supposed to, and it's not that much harder to clip it to a pocket than a loose clip. The only problem I've come across is there was a little play with the thumb disk. It spun slightly with some force. The screw holding it on is cheap and stripped really easily when I tried tightening it. I filled the head of the screw with liquid super glue so that it would drip into the threads, so the disk is fine now. Also, the blade steel could be better, but at the price, it's hard to complain. 8Cr13MoV is good stuff, anyway. Overall, it's an excellent value. You could pay a lot more and get a lot less.

Not The best “BUT”
Not the best Tanto style edc out there but it is cqc ready, the wave function works decently but mine came very tight, had to loosen the pivot, felt like a gas station knife before I did that, lubed it up a bit now it’s much better. Think the one I got has been sitting around forever.. it’s still a cool looking blade but When I ordered it I thought about the single edge on this one, not minding it but when I got it since I’m left handed it looks awkward, keep in mind they sharpened it like this so it’s easier in the field to maintain instead of directly sharpening 2 sides/edges you only need to focus on 1 which makes it much easier.. so if you’re left handed like me this is not a good blade for you as when it’s in your hand you’ll only see the flat side.. no lines or dips. Luckily I can wield a blade both right and left with ease. Just a cool cqc blade, borderline novelty but this 1 is actually functional probably going to be my main carry once I master the wave, which is kinda difficult wearing wranglers but I’m getting the hang of it, pocket the knife slanted to the side and catch it on the side of the seem to make it easier,. This makes it so when you pull it it’s fully deployed and combat ready or.. to just use as a tool lol, loosen the clip a bit by slightly bending it because it’s grippy for some reason. You’re welcome.

The best knife out of the CQC lineup hands down
Absolutely great knife. Was trying to find something similar to the other CQC I believe it’s called the “5K” (the one that has the Bowie edge). That one has the most ergonomic grip however this one now has the most ergonomic grip out of the CQC line of Kershaw knives. The reason being is the other Green model with the clip point edge does not have the best place for your thumb to go on the edge of the knife it’s more of a rounded edge there for when you plunge it into something hard it tends to drive a lot of recoil right on your thumb.. Versus this knife that has a flat bottom that allows you to drive and penetrate much harder especially with the tanto edge and not absorb a lot of recoil into your thumb. The ONLY thing I wish is that this was not a single honed edge knife. I wish it was double honed and I know it’s a “sharper edge” when it comes to single honed edges but still just for beauty and symmetry reasons it would’ve been nice. Also would love to see a slightly larger version of this with the same ergonomics but a tad bigger handle and color options with a 4” tanto. Still for people who don’t have any skill with a knife, stabbing would be more effective than slashing and this knife is designed just for that. 10/10 Kershaw and Emerson did a great job with this one. *I also wish it was better steel than 8CR13MOV which is garbage steel; hard and laborious to sharpen, but is pretty good at corrosion resistance. But that’s easily overlooked by all the other great and NECESSARY features of this particular knife.

FYI this knife has a chisel edge on it.. If you are okay with that, buy this knife.
First off, I have been reading some reviews from other customers complaining that they "forgot to put a bevel on the other side". Kershaw didn't forget. It's called a chisel grind. It's intentionally done like that. Here's the definition of a chisel grind: "A chisel grind is an asymmetrical single-bevel blade style where only one side is ground to an edge while the opposite side remains completely flat." This is what Ernest Emerson's knives are known for. The chisel grinds are rugged, and easy to maintain and sharpen in the field. Just FYI so you are more informed as a consumer. Anyway, on to the review. This knife feels great in the hand, the grip is textured just right with the peel ply g-10 and the shape is very ergonomic. The action is a bit stiff out the box, but it loosens up over time and gets smokther. And it feels secure, it won't open in your pocket. It was decently sharp out the box, it will definitely cut rope and zip ties and will serve well as a good beater knife.

Good value
Very solid build quality for the price. I own an Emerson and this has similar grip material.

Gutes Messer - aber nicht für jedermann!
Tolles Taschenmesser. Wer also kein Vermögen für ein "echtes" Emerson ausgeben will, sollte hier zuschlagen.

A tiempo y completa
Llego a tiempo y completa. Mucho mas pesada de lo que esperaba pero nada extraordinario. El filo es malo pero lo solucione con una chaira. Es dura de abrir con una mano aun despues de aceitarla espero se afloje con el uso. Es bonita y si impresiona.
