Wasn’t expecting this too be so good at this price. Large and good quality.

This bucket hat is just perfect for sun protection. It is very durable enough to stand up to a full season of hard use. You would not have to worry. The material is very sturdy. If it should get dirty, it can easily go into the washing machine. The men's size runs large. My first hat was the Men's size and it was a little too big for me. A strong wind will blow the hat off of your head if it's too big. I bought the Women's size and it fits just fine. A properly sized hat will provide good coverage from the sun. It covers the head and the neck areas. The fabric is thick enough to protect from UV rays, if you get it in the darker colors. A light color, such as the Pineapple, may not stop all of the UV rays. I do not have the means to test UV penetration. I am making an assumption that the darker colors will do the best jobs of stopping the penetration of UV rays. This hat is of very good quality. To be honest, I bought a similar style hat from REI and paid almost four times as much, and got a hat of lesser quality. That seems to be the pattern these days. Forgive me for touching on political issues in this review but it needs to be said. This very affordable, high quality product is made in China. It is thanks to China and Mexico that we Americans can afford to buy quality goods at a price that allows us to stretch our hard-earned dollars. I find it troubling that a lot of Americans are bashing China. Look, you don't have to buy their goods. You can buy a domestic product, pay a lot more, and probably get back a lot less for your money. That is your choice. Investors know that the domestic corporations shipped manufacturing overseas to China and Mexico in order to increase their profits. In return, domestic consumers are able to afford products that they otherwise may not be able to afford. There are tradeoffs. Anyway, let us get back to the subject of this review. This is a well-made sun protection hat. Wearing this hat will add style and safety to your summer outfit. This hat and a pair of quality sunglasses should be basic summer necessities. People with bald or thinning hair should wear hats on sunny days. The bucket hat is one of the styles which provide the best protection from the sun. Highly recommended.

It's decent. I think it looks good. I wouldn't mind if it felt a little softer on my bald head.

Tried to cancel this hat but couldn’t cause I was too late in the process. After receiving hat decided to try it on my 7-1/2” noggin and was pleasantly surprised with the look and fit plus you can form brim as you like. Best fit and shapeable bucket I have purchased period!

Very nice quality overall.

I really wanted to like this hat because I always have a difficult time finding something in my size. Unfortunately this isn't it. For starters, the material is way too stiff right out of the package. The hat band is actually making my forehead itch. Allergic reaction? Possibly. I'll try washing it but it shouldn't be an issue brand new. And the sizing, while it technically does fit, the crown sits too high up meaning the brim doesn't provide much coverage for my dome. Rather disappointed but for the price, it's not worth sending back. If anything, I'll toss it in the car and keep it as a spare, in case of emergency and I've forgotten my better hats somewhere else.

The hat is as advertised. I would purchase again. It’s of good quality.
