Just as good? Prime-Line vs. manufacturer parts
Yes, I think so. Our original PGT sliding door pull is not only more than double the price, the machining quality is surprisingly inferior and the company customer service is abysmal. Know that the 3 15/16” distance between screw holes is an industry standard so you are likely not wedded to buying a more expensive handle. However, the locking levers can snap if given too much force if the two doors are not pushed perfectly together. Glad to have found this worthy replacement.

Good replacement to the previous one that bent - saved me an expensive door handle replacement as all that I needed was a new latch

Buy from Lowe’s
DO NOT MOVE THE LATCH WHEN INSTALLING. I was testing the latch after unscrewing it (like a newb) and there was an audible noise. Something broke. I *think* a spring flew off. And guess what? We can’t find anything. Nor can we find schematics online to figure out what broke. Now the latch doesn’t work right. I tried to request a replacement, but went in circles and have to communicate with manufacturer to resolve. Save yourself some trouble (and a few dollars) and buy from Lowe’s.

Durable product.
We bought this to replace the broken plastic door lever on our sliding glass door. Super simple to install and much more heavy duty than the original latch. Saved us from having to replace the entire handle assembly

I couldn’t find a patio door lever anywhere in my city but thank goodness I checked on Amazon. It fit like a charm with no adjustments required.

Saved from a new patio door
Over time old patio door latch snapped off; couldn't lock patio door. Looked everywhere for a replacement but on a lark found it in amazon. Low and behold it worked. Saved us from replacing the who patio door assembly.

Initially impressed, lasted 9 months
Very happy, seems like a sturdy metal construction, much better than the plastic one it replaced. Update: lasted all of 9 months before cracking. Disappointing.
