So i like the mask because it fulfilled it's purpose well. the padding will not protect you from a hockey puck. it will not stop your nose from getting broken if you get hit in the face with anything harder than a fist. breathing is fine while wearing the mask. you shouldn't wear it if you have long hair. if you have facial hair wearing the mask can get pretty itchy. visibility is fine if you are used to wearing a mask however your vision is cut about in half if not more. it isn't good for child size heads. you want it very snug when you're wearing it. if you mess with the top strap at the center of the mask it is difficult for it to be reattached so just leave it alone. the mask itself is durable and rigid but not so rigid as to make it shatter. the padding is thin foam almost like a craft foam. the buckles are plastic so be aware, it's not a bad thing it's just not impervious to damage. while wearing the mask your head will get very hot very fast. it is exactly what i expected for this item.

It's tough, fits just right, and makes me look intimidating for Halloween.

I think he's Jason's younger cousin that nobody talks about idk lol (Update) I bought another and the foam padding's falling out

Purchased for Halloween and cosplay. The pads on the inside don’t like to stay on while in storage but they stick back in place well enough to use. I assume adding some extra sticky stuff might help, but for a Halloween piece I can’t complain. This is a legit hockey mask, though, so for roller hockey or pickup games I assume it will do its job. Won’t prevent massive trauma but will take the brunt of the collision and probably protect against broken noses and eye sockets etc. use at your own risk.

Real nice, solid mask. I was expecting it to be cheap quality, but I loved the movie Heat, so I bought it. But this thing is nice, all my kids have played with it, and it's holding up.

It looks awesome, and performs as you might expect. I used the mask for ball hockey and it worked great! I got hit in the mask a couple times with the ball. You definitely know you got hit, but it does not hurt at all. It is surprisingly comfortable, and gives you great visibility compared to bird cage masks, and great mobility. I would not recommend this mask for ice or even roller hockey that uses a plastic puck. The foam on the inside of my mask started falling off after 4 weeks of use, but a little super glue did the trick. User beware, the mask offers little protection to the neck area. I got hit in the neck where my normal goalie helmet would have covered. Overall, the coolness factor makes up for any of the downfalls this mask may have! I haven't gone one game without someone commenting on it.

Item as pictured. Arrived exceptionally fast, is sturdy, fits well, and is pleasing to the eye. Lastly, it is by far the most comfortable mask I've worn and the straps are easy to work with. I couldn't be happier.

Still in the bag but looks the part, I wanted a mask from the movie HEAT and this is the one. I could give 5 stars because the elastic straps are black not white as shown in the sellers picture.
