The Inés i purchased were not rechargeable. I was expecting rechargeable. I recommend you make sure the ones you purchase state "rechargable". I had to buy rechargable battery packs and chargers afterwards.

I'm not sure exactly but it works just the same as the other prods when loading hogs just a better grip just don't get it wet or u will shock urself

It zaps as long as the trigger is pulled . I’ve had mine two years . The only issue I’ve had is if it is dropped or handled roughly I’ve had the battery detach a couple times

How many Joules/energy does it put out?

I don’t know the answer but when I hit my dog’s with it to brake up fight it works very well 👍🏻
