ESR Case for The iPad Mini 4, [Corner/Bumper Protection] Smart Cover Case with Soft TPU Bumper and Auto Wake/Sleep Function Compatible for iPad Mini 4 2015 Version (Champagne Gold)

I looove this case! It is by far the nicest case I have ever had on any tablet I've ever owned. With the iPad mini 4 being so new, it was impossible to find a good protective case in a store and just as hard finding one I liked online. After looking for awhile I settled on a folio case here on Amazon and ordered it. I decided to look again a couple of days later and found this one (ESR Yippee) which I didn't remember seeing when I looked the first time. I looked at all the features and it seemed perfect so I cancelled my original order and bought this one. It shipped very quickly after my order went through and was right on schedule with tracking, only taking a few days to get to me. I ordered the gold one mostly because I wasn't too crazy about any of the other designs they had and I bought the gold iPad mini 4, so I figured why not enhance the color as much as possible? The color is exactly as pictured. The shell part is a mixture of a silicone gel (for around the bezel) and a harder TPU plastic, which I assume is why they call it a hybrid. It hugs the iPad very well and feels very secure, not loose at all, protective and shock-resistant, but not at all bulky. All the cut-outs for the speakers, audio port, charging port, and microphone are perfectly precise and there are plastic buttons on top of the power and volume buttons. You don't have to press any harder than you normally would to use the buttons. The extra cut-outs on the back for more ventilation was a very nice touch. The front looks like a textured leather, feels nice and smooth, has a good weight to it, probably due to the magnet, and closes perfectly over the screen to active the wake/sleep function. The magnet on the back was a great idea and it is an added bonus that the cover isn't flapping around while you're holding it. It folds like a triangle for a propped up typing view when laid flat and the same shape works for a straight-up view like for watching videos. Also, there is room to put a tempered glass screen protector without worrying about getting in the way of the case, since it only covers the bezel and does not add any additional thickness to the screen where it is not necessary. Overall, this is an awesome, very high quality case and is more than worth the price. This is much nicer and more functional than any case found in any store which would most likely be double or triple the price of this one. I would highly recommend to everyone!

I recently replaced my iPad mini at a local Apple store, and purchased the Apple smart cover and case protector at the same time. They're great products, but they are quite pricy at something like $100 for the two. I came home and found this item on Amazon and actually like it BETTER than the far more expensive Apple version. The back is soft and translucent, so you can see the Apple insignia on the back of my device. The top is plastic versus leather, but is perfectly acceptable in terms of functionality. I obviously don't know yet how well this item will hold up, but did travel with it once and had no trouble, and at a fraction of the cost don't really care if I have to replace it down the road.

Im writing this review in November 2019. I bought this case in October 2015. I use my ipad everyday for long periods of time, and often take it with me to various places. This case is AMAZING for the price. Its still holding strong after FOUR YEARS of abuse. Ha! Its amazing. I noticed the seller no longer has this exact one available. I wanted to buy a new one because this one is ever so slightly becoming worn, but mainly the only problem is that its accumulated a lot of dinge. (not the cases fault) and I was hoping to get a new color.This case is second to none.

Excellent case, perfect fit (including lightning & headphone ports), good protection, thin, light, strong cover magnet. Can easily install/remove the iPad from back case tray, yet iPad sits snugly in the tray. Champagne Gold cover color is terrific with the gold iPad - a matte metallic cover without being garish. The back is a smooth translucent polycarbonate plastic, allowing a matte view of the back of the iPod. Edges are clear, shock absorbing soft plastic that covers all edges & corners except the cover "hinge'" edge. "Smart" on/off feature works well, stays closed. Did much research before choosing this cover. There are similar, cheaper covers, but I couldn't find any other on Amazon that has the soft plastic edges & corner protection or a magnet to hold the open cover flat on the back. This is a huge plus if the IPad is mostly handheld. Stand feature isn't firm on mine, but I don't really need it. While this case/cover is reasonably protective for what it is, if you toss or drop your IPad regularly, I encourage you to look at more heavy-duty cases...but none of them feature a s Smart Cover. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the third case from this company I've used. The first was a gray one for an iPad. It was in very good condition after five or more years. The second was for an iPad mine. This one was black and is still in very good condition after almost three years. The only problem was the inner part of the gray one, the part that contacts the screen, became dirty. Since you only saw it when you opened the case I didn't feel it was worth worrying about. With neither did I have problems with the iPad slipping out of the plastic back. The slight resistance of the back made it easy to hold without slipping.This one is in champagne gold and appears the same as the first two. The iPad fits snugly into the plastic back. Dirt will show more because of its light color and I will probably look for a cleaning procedure that won't damage the soft surface that contacts the glass.

I’m very impressed with this case which fits my Apple Mini ipad4 perfectly and all buttons are easily accessible for functionality.I did take one star off however because at times once held a certain way the case peels very slightly off of the iPad edges but rights itself again momentarily.I would purchase this again most definitely as the colors are not too “ blingy” and easy on the eyes.A very practical and attractive case for the price.

My case looks different from the photo and the back of it is perspex, not what I expected. But this does give it more protection. It is difficult to get the ipad to sit as shown in the photo. Eventually, I managed. I will probably grow to like it when I get accustomed to it.Update - The company contacted me, much to my surprise and offered a solution to my problem. I am delighted with their response and impressed that they made contact. I would now use this seller again and recommend them as they sort out any problems. Now a delighted customer.

This is good looking and well designed. It showcases the back of the I Pad mini i recently purchased which is beautiful and rose gold. This compliments it perfectly. Far exceeds any offering by Apple. They want you to pay extra for the beautiful metallic coloured divices and then sell only expensive covers that hide the very thing you paid extra for. Too soon to say whether this will stand the test of time but I am hopeful.

Excellent mini iPad cover, it fits very well and the gold colour matches the gold iPad really well. You can still see the gold Apple logo through the back cover. It is very good value and has lasted well given the high daily use. It does not add much weight to the mini iPad 3 so it's still slim and light to fit into a handbag. I would highly recommend this product.

Colour did not match description. Looks like an exdisplay model as colour faded and a black mark on outer cover. Fits well and turns on and off with shutting.

Arrived very quickly, easy to fit, looks smart and isn't bulky, which is what I needed. Bumper protects the iPad edges though I haven't test dropped by new digital friend to test this! Time will tell on durability but so far I'm very pleased with this and it seems just as effective as a more expensive brand I purchased some years back for the bigger iPad. I would recommend this and would probably by again if I needed another cover.

Great cover for iPad mini4 keeps the edges protected without increasing the size dramaticallyOnly flaw would have liked stronger magnets when holding screen cover shut as can easily flop open a little exposing screen but not a great issue

Overall, very good. Works very well. The 'Softer TPU' material looks very good and doesn't scratch the iPad if you need to remove it. However, don't like the 'ventilation' gaps as this isn't needed and leaves it vulnerable to scratches, but this is a minor point.

iPad case is perfect fit for my iPad Mini 4 and the product is as described on the web page. Am very pleased with the case and would recommend. Was delivered as notified.
