Delicious
Purchased for camper van vacation in Iceland. These were light weight and easy to travel with. 2 pouches fed 4 adults for one meal. Delicious meal, tons of flavor and would definitely eat again.

Great product
great product. but, once again, this package was left at a neighbors door. I had one at my door for someone across the parking lot. Amazon shows up, we call it meet your neighbor day. Anyway, Mountain House meals are my favorite. Inflation has shifted my priorities and don't buy as much but do when I can.

Good for burritos
Pretty good for a backpacking meal. Also works good as a taco/burrito filling if you have the fixings.

Great for camping, weekend hikes or semi-long term storage.
I bought a bunch of these for reasons listed above in the title. We were on a flat trip and got hungry, no one really brought anything but snack crap and beer. So I pulled a few of these, a bit of water and my small propane burner out and whipped these up for us.Everyone kinda laughed at 1st, but after smelling them, became interested. At the end, everyone was impressed and thankful. Obviously not as tasty as a restaurant meal, but that's not what they are for.If you buy and store these, then end up needing them or wanting to use them, you'll be very happy to have had them. Just make sure you have water for this and to drink and a way to heat the water to boiling. Will buy again. Try all the Mountain House flavors. Most are good, but a few are stinkers... :)

I used to only use these for backpacking but now I'm older.
I do keep a few dozen on hand for emergencies. Living in a fire prone area, there are times when I don't have power or access to a store. Having a good supply of easy to make food is comforting to me. I like the Mountain House brand. All of their meals are tasty and one of them gives me enough to feel sated for a full day. I do cook them in my sun oven when I don't have power. That just seems to be the easiest way, rather than boiling water and following the directions, I just pour the contents and the required amount of water in a pot and let the sun heat it up for an hour. They always come out perfect. I have tried most of them. Yes, I store these and I also use them regularly. I highly recommend them.

A good mixture
This fajita bowl is great when coupled with tortillas! A quick re-hydration, tastes good, and sits well in the tummy. Mountain House is a great company that prides itself on using good ingredients, and is cooked before freeze drying. Easy to carry in a backpack, but I have used it at home, too!! Great food!

Good enough...kind of
I ordered a few of these for a multi night backpacking trip. They are easy to prepare, just add hot water to the bag and that's it. The taste was ok and they did the trick. I packed 4 of these in my backpack. They are bulky and take up a lot space. If you're ok with that, then these aren't too bad. They just didn't seem worth the price for the ok taste and the amount of room they took up. I did have an Egg Scramble in the mix, and they all kind of tasted the same, not bad, but not really all that good either.
