A must have for waterfowlers!
This thing is awesome! Had it loaded down both decors and towed it behind my pirogue. Made for an easy paddle to and from our destination and the floatation in the Beavertail Sled was unbelievable. I have also used it to drag decoys and guns into the WMAs and it makes life easier. Its very stable, sturdy, and nearly indestructible. It slides over oyster bars with ease. This is a must for serious waterfowlers.

9 yr owned . 100% absolute necessity! still rigorous daily use hunting, farm, hay, wood, and more.
I have used this sled daily on my small acreage. My place receives many feet of snow each winter and I used to try to carry a bale out further and further so the horses would keep the snow knocked down and I could feed on the snow, not in several feet of snow. I also now use it on the bare ground in all seasons that I feed hay. I also use it to pull the wood cut from trees around me to take the cut wood to the house. ABSOLUTE NECESSITY. VERSITILE Farm and hunting sled. I LOVE this sled. I have taken it hunting to sled deer/elk out and can also put gas cans, etc in it and store under the trailer up hunting (fill with items to get out to the weather, pull it out for easy access to all stored in it) when not using it to retrieve game. It has been thrown, fallen over embankments, and had horses step in it. After 9 yrs has one small crack that after 2 years has never spread. I replaced the rope once. This is a must buy ** from a senior citizen lady that has put it through the test. I feel like it is so necessary that I should buy a 2nd one for the lower barn. I take cat food, dog food, salt blocks, T-post, wooden railsand jacks for jack fencing, railroad ties, etc from the house to the lower barn which is a steep hill and about 350 ft from the house. One caution is when full and pulling down a snowy hill place it to the side of you, or it will run ya over. .

Versatile tool for use around my home
The first use of this sled was to aid workers in Houston and it survived the trip. I reinforced the pull and the rope as I sensed this was a week point in the construction. I attached some wooden handles on each side to aid in lifting. The sled may not have needed these changes but I felt better after I made these few alterations. I use it around my home when I prune my plants and trees. Much of this is on a incline in the front of my home and my wheel barrow can not be used successfully and the sled will not tip over and it holds more than the wheel barrow. This can not be treated like a wheel barrow as it is plastic and could easily be punctured by throwing heave sharp materials into it. I put my grandson who weighs about a100lbs and find that may be the limit on grass as to how much I would be willing to drag around with it. I see lots of good uses for this item in the future, I chose this size as it could be drug thru door ways in the cleaning out of homes in Houston but in the yard I believe I would have preferred the one larger than this one.

Love it!
I am so happy I got this little sled. I use it on the dry ground as well as snow. It slides the load much easier than a wagon.

Perfect for my use - small sled for solo hunting
A picture is worth a thousand words. I really struggled with which size to buy and there were no reviews explaining how much duck gear fits in a particular size. I went with the small sled which should give everyone at least a starting point. In the attached picture the sled is loaded with: 15 mallard decoys in a bag, a marsh stool (under the decoys on the bottom of the sled), and small/med blind bagThe small size is exactly what I was looking for and actually quite roomy. I'll be using the sled to walk into shallow marshes and am transporting my gear in a small car. I have not tried to fit the sled in the car yet but it looks like it will fit. Like others I opted for a better quality rope, the braided nylon that it comes with is pretty poor quality. Some spare long line rope works well. The sled looks durable enough. Time will tell - I'll post if something goes wrong.

Dissapointed, after only 3 uses.
After 3 uses, one of the runners cracked. Didn't know it until I tried to float it across a pond loaded up at 4 am.Didn't abuse it, didn't take it down pavement. You would assume that a product made and marketed this way would be able to be used as advertised, but just wanted to let any future buyers know about this. If perhaps you only want to use this around your yard and won't be heartbroken or stranded out somewhere if it breaks, I'd buy this. If you're going to buy it and depend on it, I'd look elsewhere, as I am now going to have to do.
