I bought a couple of these paddles from Amazon at different times and at a great price. I really like the way they are made, the weight and shape. It feels good in my hand, has a nice grip and I like the way the ball sounds when I hit it. I can hit power shots with no problems and it has a big sweet spot.

I am a 63 year old male. I used to play with an onix Z5 and loved it, but I found that the Gamma Shard was much better at the net. The paddle feels softer but doesn’t seem to give up power. I spin the ball a lot and this paddle even seems to add more spin. The Gamma grips are also far superior. Overall, the paddle is well worth the money.

Got this for my husband for his birthday. He was using Selkirk Invicta. He likes this one better. It’s a little bit shorter and lighter. The handle is also smaller. He says it plays well.

This paddle is okay, if your a beginner. I felt it was an average paddle for the court. Definitely better than the very cheap paddles.

My first paddle was a Gamma Mirage (which I liked) so I decided to stay with Gamma for my upgrade. The Shard is a notable improvement in both feel and sound. I’m very happy with the purchase, and I like that Gamma is based in Pittsburgh, PA!

It's quieter than my cheaper paddle from Gamma. I seem to have a softer touch on dinks, but can still drive the ball hard.

While it worked it was great. However it broke during a pickle ball play after only a few months of play. Contacted customer service for help, and they did nothing. They refused to fix it, offered no discount on a new paddle. They said I should just buy a new one. We should not have to buy a new one after a few months. Will not be purchasing from this company again.

Bought it about 1 month ago, used it about 12 times to date and absolutely love it. It is light, easy to maneuver, gives good balance between maneuverability and power. I had a Wilson surge previously that I also liked very much but control was weak. The handle is not octagon shape as most paddle I suppose, but still very comfortable and I found it easy to get used to it.

This racquet has good power combined with excellent touch. The square shaped handle feels different for some but actually works well.

It took some getting use to. Not as thin as my old one. Nice feel and balance, more for intermediate player and up.
