The lotion is very thick and it smells weird as it doesn't have added fragrance. This is how it smells! it's not gone bad or anything. It has a very chemical smell. Has a bit of an oily feel to it but it gets absorbed into the skin in 30min. It takes time! It's enough if you use this once-twice a week to exfoliate the body. DO NOT USE THIS ON THE FACE! It's not for the face!

Good amount of moisture but did not work on my KP

I have Keratosis pilaris (KP), so i thought if i use this product this will atleast show some results But after 3months Its not showing any results so if you also want to use this product to fix your Keratosis pilaris (KP) issue Then please don't buy this if you want to use it just to moisturize your skin then defiantly don't buy this Because its smell sooooo bad also it will sting if you have cuts or damaged skin

Waste of money. Not at all works for dry skin. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly.

Old Amlactin was amazing and reduced my KP. But this new version is not moisturising the skin at all. Waste of money.

There was no packaging. No manufacturing date, no date of expiry in the bottle. Bottle looks like it's used.

I don’t know if it works

Inmiddels gebruik ik deze lotion ruim een week nu voor mijn door de jaren heen beschadigde, schilferige, droge en vooral dunne huid. Zoals ik al las staat deze lotion bekend om weer volume terug te kunnen brengen in de huid. Het hydraterende van deze lotion werkt vanaf dag één, en dit tweede effect wacht ik de komende tijd af. Twee flessen is prima om het lang genoeg te proberen in ieder geval. De lotion is mild, zowel in het gezicht als op het lichaam, trekt compleet in in een redelijke tijd en gemakkelijk te gebruiken.

Only problem is the smell!

Consistency is key when using KP creams. I've found that applying it regularly, usually once or twice a day, yields the best results. Over time, I've noticed a reduction in redness and a significant decrease in the number of bumps. While it may not completely eliminate the condition, it certainly makes it much less noticeable.

I've always had KP on the back of both my arms since I was little that only got more prominent as I grew older. I have tried so many alleged cures, ingredients and products for over 25 years since I was 11. Ammonium lactate products are by far the most effective treatment for *my* KP (compared to urea, salicylic acid, glycolic acid and others that are touted as cure for KP). Unfortunately, Amlactin is the only brand I have found to make the most effective, if not the only, ammonium lactate products. And the brand is only formally distributed in the US, making it pricey to purchase outside the US. However, this is, by far, the only product that not only smooth out the bumps, but also reduces the looks of the darkened spots the bumps left behind. It does have a distinctive smell (acidic earthy scent) that dissipates overtime (and not overpowering) but I'd take that any time for my extremely smooth skin.
