Nice basket for edge of pond.
The basket is pretty much as expected. I gave it 5 stars because it is as advertised, sturdiness is fine just a little bit less than expected but that's my expectation & shouldn't influence the rating. Fits perfectly along the edge of my pond. I planted 2 small corkscrew rush on each end and a small arrowhead plant in the middle and all seem quite happy. Wouldn't hesitate to reorder but the cost is a bit over the top.

Size Matters
I bought this to serve as an island in my fish pond with the top sitting about 1" above the surface. It will serve this purpose and I'll keep it. The only problem I have is the diagram that shows the sizes is off. It says it is 7" high. It's actually only barely 6". Again, no huge issue. I'll just have to redesign the island so it will sit at the correct height.

Finally Found the Kidney Bean!
Dear god you have no idea how long I looked for one of these. I am glad I found it however, regardless of the price... It was definitely worth it. Held all five of my plants and fit really well inside of my fountain. I will be buying another one next year to add to this one!

Perfect for our pond plants
This basket is the perfect size and shape for pond plants. This was just right for my aquascaping in our pond. I planted two pickerel weed plants in this basket, one at either end. It was exactly what I needed to create a barrier to keep the water flowing throughout the whole pond, instead of just straight to the intake. I highly recommend.

Off label use
Okay, I didn't use these in a pond. I needed something I could plant that would curve around the base of a garden statue. I put some plastic in them with a few holes poked in it in the bottom for drainage, filled it with potting soil and planted as usual. They worked perfectly and looked great as the plants spilled over the edge. Even if they didn't they would probably look all right as they are dark.

Don’t expect quality
Pretty thin material. Don’t expect it to last long. Nice shape for my small container pond. Quality needs improvement.
