I use this case not for pastries but for showcasing my various art collector toys. The figures range from 3" to 6" and this case houses roughly 50 figures, several large ones on the bottom (lower shelf has more clearance) and the upper shelves house the 3" figures perfectly. Most display cases are quite expensive but this one is an awesome price. Now with that price comes a little sacrifice. The build quality is decent but the doors don't swing easily open but then again 1) maybe w/ repeated use they will and 2) as it is a display case I rarely open the doors, so a non issue. I gave it 5 stars regardless since the price is so good and it houses so many figures.

I have purchased about 25 display cases over the past couple of years from The Container Store. They weren't better products- I simply didn't know any better. I got tired of their products arriving broken about 75% of the time so I started looking for a replacement.. I am NOT exaggerating with that figure- at least 75% arrived broken. This product arrived packed EXCELLENT and the product is great. I don't foresee an issue with any future orders. Looking forward to future purchases.

My minie perfumes look like they are in a Sak fifth ave store. It have a lock that is strong and truly locks. It is extremely beautiful

On the plus side, it really is a nice looking shelf. Good for displaying collectibles or whatever. Decent little lock and door mechanism. I'm using them for my rare book collection.First downside - both of the cases I ordered were cracked on arrival. Not terribly noticeable, but still annoying. Would suggest the vendor ships as an assembly. That would save in volume and durability in transit.Second downside, the shelves are not removable or adjustable. It's probably noted somewhere, but these shelves would be much more useful if the height of the shelves was adjustable like when you buy a cabinet. That would make their product applicable to more use cases.

Used this to display hydroplane collectibles that my husband has. They no longer collect dust and are easy to see.

Do NOT buy this product. If I could Zero stars, I would. Before I even open the outer box I could smell a musty oder coming from inside the cardboard box. When I opened the box, the Display Case absolutely STUNK so bad of musty old moth balls. I can not use this Display Case to sell cookies out of, they will stink and taste bad. When I contacted Amazon for a refund, I was told that I needed to get "authorization from the seller" to return the item. This was NOT posted anywhere on the page when I ordered it. I did get a return authorization and I had to pay for shipping back (which was expensive because it is a large box) AND I had to pay a 20% re-stocking fee. CRAZY!
