Made it Low Profile like the Elgato Arm LP.
I've used the arm for about 10 months now. It's excellent, sturdy and I could position however I needed it. I've used it with Blue yeti x and other lighter mics. The only downside was when I fastened it to the desk at the side with a triple monitor setup. It would partially block some of the monitor view, from the side it was attached. Recently I've seen the new Elgato wave arm lp, which you can position from under the monitor. I thought that would be good. I've found It is very easy to detach the two lower springs on the Tonor arm (just detached one end of each spring and fasten the hanging springs to the arm for tidiness with velcro straps), so the first section sits low and flat and now I can fasten the arm to the desk behind my monitor and have it come out from below the monitor. It no longer blocks my view, and works like an Elgato arm LP sitting low minus the extra rotation the elgato gives you. It now works a lot better for me. I'll update my review to 5 stars with the little low profile tweak. (obviously you can try this tweak at your own risk. For me it was very simple, no damage and easily undone if needed).

For the monwy this is the top of its class
I have purchased boom arm mic stands in the past and although always just about useable have always been disappointed with the quality. No such problems with the Tonor A20 adjustable boom arm mic stand. Tonor have clearly listened to their customers and addressed many points often raised about other stands. Lets start with the desk clamp. I see it used to have a much flimsier clamp but the latest model has a substantially bigger and much stronger clamp making it very stable and secure. The arm itself simply yet very well designed easily supporting a Blue Yeti mic. I see other reviews talk about the reducer threads on the adaptor not fitting the blue yeti mic and it is true they dont BUT I dont think they were ever intended to. the adaptor is to enable you to attach a shock mount to the mic arm. I have a blue yeti and that attaches to the shock arm not the stand. The adaptor does attach to a standard (smaller) mic holder (supplied) which is attached to the stand. All in all for a shade under £35 I am really pleased with this item. As an aside being a belt and braces sort of guy I have left the yeti desk stand locking nuts attached and attached a thick elastic band which I have passed through the shock mount to give extra support. There is absolutely no need to do this but I mention it in case it is of interest. The only negative is the smaller mic holder which isnt so sturdy and the locking nut just spins round and wont tighten

Great buy if are price conscious but don't want to compromise too much on quality and function.
My use: Needed an external mic for my PC as my laptop does not have one built in. The desktop mic stand that came with my mic (Elgato Wave 3) was too short and restrictive, also too close to keyboard so kept picking up the sounds from keys when typing. I decided to buy a mic arm for better positioning, my first choice was initially the Rode PSA1 but hard to find in stock due to lock down and was pricey (>£75). I found this model (Toner T20) which had a lot of good reviews and seemed more reliable than the cheaper models (~£15-20) on amazon. The Good: The materials and build seem good quality and the arm rather secure and sturdy. Very easy to assemble following the provided instructions and looks good. There is a large range of motion so I can position my mic in many positions and it stays in place and can withstand a few knocks (although I wouldn't recommend it). The motion is also smooth and and steady, I read that some lower quality products can grind and are not pleasant to reposition. The listing states that this arm can accommodate heavier mics like the Blue Yeti (a highly popular mic that's reportedly a little on the heavier side). I use mine with Elgato Wave 3 (which requires an adapter to fit but that came included with my mic - so be aware if you buy second hand and do not have the adapter). Colour is a nice matte black which is very neutral and will go with any colour scheme of your set up (if that matters to you). The included pop filter is a nice extra and although my mic already has a built in pop filter, this can also act as a saliva guard to keep your mic hygienic. The clamp has a good sturdy grip to my desk so provides a stable foundation. There is also a rather neat cradle built in to the underside (under the desk) that you can use to hang your headset/headphones/whatever you like which is a really smart touch and I've made great use of, as my desk (see pics) is very space limited. The Bad: I suppose some of the hinges are a little stiff (although the trade off is that they are sturdy) so whilst horizontal plane is smooth and steady, vertical repositioning can be bit of a chore. My delivery did not include the velcro cable ties that's advertised on the website and I was otherwise very happy with the product and wanted to keep it so amazon kindly offered my credit as a good will gesture. Overall: Great mic boom arm if are price conscious but don't want to compromise too much on quality and function. Recommended. Note: £21.66 early Jan 2021, Sold by Micfonotech, Fuillfilled by Amazon.

Genuinely sturdy! Perfect for Rode NT1-A
Having a heavy recording mic like the Rode NT1-A, I spent many weeks in trying to browse through various boom arms and trying to guess which one could actually hold the weight of the mic without being a disaster. To be honest I was mentally prepared that whatever I buy will collapse one I mount my Rode on it with its shock mount…. But this one didn’t! Early review- 1. Looks extremely good quality and finish. Strong and sturdy material. Very strong springs 2. Took less than 5 min to assemble and mount, …..and then I got confused about where it will best suit my desk - so I could single handedly dissemble and re-attach the entire unit on the other end of my desk within another 5 minutes! 3. Amazing steadiness- as you can see in the pictures- it didn’t budge despite me mounting my Rode NT1-A with its shock mount- so I got greedy and tried to test if it can take the Aokeo noise cancelling shield as well - and I am extremely impressed to see that this thing actually holds the ENTIRE UNIT so neatly 4. Manoeuvrability- despite mounting the entire noise cancelling shield + NT1-A + shock mount and pop filter - this boom arm can ACTUALLY move the whole unit around in literally any direction and any angle I seek, which means my full unit is neatly tucked away when I am not recording, giving me full desk space, and in a few seconds I can bring it back into use by just rotating the entire setup towards me ! Wow I wasn’t expecting such a sturdy setup I will repost another review after a few months of use to see how this thing lasts but for now I am terribly impressed.

Very sturdy and versatile
I recently purchased the TONOR Adjustable Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Arm Stand and I am very pleased with my purchase. The stand is well-constructed and feels very sturdy, with a solid metal construction that can support even heavier microphones. The adjustable suspension boom arm allows for easy positioning of the microphone, and the stand itself is also adjustable, making it easy to find the perfect height. The included pop filter is an added bonus and helps to reduce unwanted plosives. The stand is also easy to set up and take down, making it a great option for on-the-go recording or streaming. Overall, the TONOR Adjustable Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Arm Stand is a great option for anyone in need of a sturdy and versatile microphone stand. It offers great value for the price and is a 5 star worthy product.

Decent range of motion, fantastic value for money!
Edit: lol as of 6th March 2021 it's totally snapped at the base, plastic is discoloured from weakening inside. Very glad I was able to catch it, or it would've destroyed both my monitors and my PC in one fell swoop :) Thanks Tonor! Really hoping it was just a faulty unit, as it worked great before that. Regardless of this, the seller? Awesome, within 2 days of sending a message a replacement has been dispatched to arrive on the 10th. Fingers crossed. ** I was a little worried about buying this product as the price is somewhat low when it comes to mic arms, but I'm certainly impressed with it. The metal frame is sturdy enough, though I'm having one issue that I expected, which is that it can't quite hold my mic at the angle I want due to the weight of it combined with the shock mount, which is somewhere around 2kg; but I expected this and I certainly can't complain for the price! The cable ties it came with are good quality and look nice too, and the product with packaged well with the addition of a pop filter that fixes via clamp, a small foam pop cover, a thread adapter, and a mic adapter for holding something like a small diaphragm condenser mic. The base clamp is really sturdy, and if you fix it in the right place, you can hang your headphones on the end of it :D
