I have come to love all of Gardena's products. You can save a few dollars with other brands but they seldom ever perform as well as Gardena. The connectors make connecting and disconnecting hoses really quick and easy. I have a quick connector on each and every hose bib/faucet. I have a quick connector at the end of every hose. I got this to use with the hose connecting set. These connectors are fantastic for eliminating leaks with hose connections, as well as swapping out hoses and attachments quickly. I've put them on all my hoses. Highly recommend.

I didn't even know such things existed. I'm thrilled with this! (and the other parts I purchased) It does get a little annoying when it gets dirt in it, but otherwise performing perfectly! I purchased MORE!!!!

I’ve used these Gardenia hose connectors for the last 30 years and I’ve only had to replace it once they are highly durable and lasts an extremely long time. I highly recommend the system for your hose.

Guess I didn't read carefully enough. This item is not a complete hose-to-faucet connection like I've purchased in the past. This is only the part that screws into the hose. The part that screws onto the faucet has to be purchased separately. Seems odd to me to sell the two parts separately, since one is no good without the other. Misleading marketing, I think, to show both parts on the package when both aren't included. Too inexpensive to bother returning, but I've had to order the other part to complete the connection. I can't accurately rate the connector as a whole until I have both parts in hand.

Using these connections work well allowing the easy change out of implements to your garden hose such as wands, sprayers, sprinklers of various designs or hose connections, or just connecting or disconnecting from a hose bib. You have to be careful to check the tightness of each implement or else they will leak.

As others have mentioned, I too tried other brands and was disappointed with them. Honestly, wrote the entire concept off. That was until I bought a gardena retractable reel that included the quick release connector. After using these I quickly converted all hose attachments over to these. Very happy.
