Size/Fit varies by color/style
I’ve never had a BBL, but culturally speaking, I was taught to wear girdles to keep my shape. Fajas are basically a more restrictive/sturdy version of girdles and are commonly used in the Latinx community. It’s SUPPOSED to be tight bc that’s how they shape your body. That said, I’ve found that even though the size charts are the same for each style, the fit varies based on color/style. As I’ve said, I’m not new to fajas and I was taught that you start on the loosest hook and tighten as you slim down to bring your waist in. I ordered two of these— one in black with the zipper on the crotch and one in nude/mocha without the zipped crotch. Based on my measurements, I was between medium and large. I ordered the nude one in large, but once I put it on, I could already hook it on the tightest setting, meaning that it was too big. I ordered the black in medium, but it was wayyy too small, like I couldn’t really stretch it above my knees. I returned those and ordered the nude in a medium and it is the perfect fit! It’s very tight (as it should be) and I was able to start it on the loosest setting. I’m losing weight, so I know overtime, I will be able to tighten it.

Would recommend
Most comfortable faja I've bought. Took a minute to hook because I sized down. But dang! I like it. Im 5'6" with a shorter torso. 161 lbs, 30" waist, 38 chest. Ordered small

Before buying, take a good look at your measurements and the size of the strip!
I bought size S, it was a little loose on the legs, but nothing too much, and on the body it wasn't loose, but I didn't find it as tight as I wanted. But from the measurements shown here in the description of this faja, I saw that the XS would be too small for me, so I chose the S. I’m 5’3 tall and weigh 126. Otherwise, I liked this faja, it seems to be of good quality.

Not for curvier shapes or larger thighs
Not made for curvier figures. Following the size chart i could go with large or xl as my waist is 31 but when swollen, slightly larger, however my hips are about a 46.5 to 47. With that being said once I got this one, I considered the smaller size but I wont dare try it. With the XL the waist lacks the compression i need The thighs roll up and lodge in the groin area and is very painful because its not made to fit my hip/thigh size apparently and the silicone bands are quite weak..the pain is just agonizing. If i go to the smaller size for my waist I can only imagine it would be worse. Note, I do not have a BBL, only lipo 360. The company should consider making a compression garment with no hip compression to accomodate out of the box, your distorted idea of ideal shapes. Those of us with curves, that dont necessarily fit your mold would greatly appreciate it..

Good product, an issue for larger thighs
It was a good product overall it did its job in keeping in place where things should be. For reference I am 5’7 and weigh 206 pounds I got it in a size medium although I’m usually a large for it to be tighter. I gave birth a few months ago and needed something to put everything back in place and hopefully help give back my shape and flatten a bit the tummy. The faja does it’s job in securing everything but it wasn’t too tight in the stomach area where I was mostly looking for. It is good quality material and the crotch less area is great for bathroom use. My one issue which caused me to return it was that my thigh area is a bit thick so the faja would roll up all the way to my crotch and the silicone would not hold. I will try and see if I can get a model with longer bottoms and hopefully that works. Overall it’s a good product for the price that you are paying maybe if you have smaller thighs it will not roll up as much.

Not for long torsos
Now that I've had it for almost a month I feel like i can leave a review. My biggest complaint is the torso is TOO SHORT FOR LONG TORSO GIRLIES. The thighs were ok at first but the longer you wear it the more the thogh part starts to roll up now. The crotch hurt a little at first even though no zipper, but again i think its the long torso thing. But now that its broken in its not as bad. The straps aren't uncomfortable, it compresses like it should. At first I hated the crotch flap unsteady of the zipper but now I love it.

Amazing Faja- Great for after surgery
I really like this product. I recently had surgery (3 weeks ago), a tummy tuck and breast lift, and this faja is amazing. I’m on the first row of clips and love that I’m able to adjust as my swelling keeps going down. It’s pretty flattering and it’s pretty tight and can be considered a level two faja but still works for all day wear after surgery. It makes your waist and butt look amazing! At the moment I would not feel comfortable sleeping with this one but maybe with time that will change. The crotch area is really functional and it’s not weird like some other ones that I’ve tried. It makes going to the bathroom during the day very easy. It works great for after surgery but the clips can still be bothersome to your scars so it would be best to use a shirt between your skin and the Faja. The size chart is very accurate. I weigh more after surgery due to fluid at 172 and got the XL and it is still pretty tight even on the first row of clips. The legs are also pretty stretchy and have an elastic piece on the inside that keeps them from riding up. I am definitely buying another one once I’m able to go down another size but for now I still have 3 other rows to work with which is awesome.

Once you get the correct size it’s worth the price
I had a tummy tuck and I am 3 weeks post op. Normally I am a Large in clothes and when I buy a faja or any shapewear I order it in a Medium to give me the right compression I need. So since I read that this faja runs small I decided to get a large. Once I received it it was waaayyy to small for me. My husband tried helping me put it on and it was obvious that it wasn’t the right size for me. I returned it and ordered a 2XL. I did think about just getting an XL but the way the L was wayyy to small I was scared the XL would still not be the right size for me. I received the 2XL today and I’m so happy I chose that size. It fits perfect with the right compression I need and even enough for the lipo foam. And I’m only in the first row. I can still make it tighter since this comes in 4 rows of hooks. So with time I’ll be able to get it tighter. I’m 5’2 and weigh 161 pounds. Hopefully this helps someone.
