Moroccan Coffee Spice Blend – Cinnamon & Cardamom Seasoning for Espresso, Lattes & More – 2 oz – Zamouri Spices

Love this spice mix and use it for much more than coffee. It gives rice a Mediterranean flavor that pairs well with lamb or chicken. We love it in pancakes instead of plain cinnamon, also with apple/cranberry compote - it gives a depth and richness of flavor.

I purchased both Moroccan and Turkish Coffee Spice Mixes, so I will leave the same review for both of them. Why together? Because I have the same opinion about them and it is quite positive. They give coffee a different flavor and I like using them equally. 2.0 Oz is a small size but since you need a little and it lasts surprisingly a long time. Before getting these mixes, I added just cardamom to create a Turkish style coffee and mix of cardamom and cinnamon to create a Moroccan one. Zamouri spices have more ingredients and therefore coffee has a nicer and deeper aroma. One thing that I want to add is that I put less spices than recommended. Instead of a full teaspoon of the mix for each 2 tablespoons of coffee, I add just a half of that or sometimes even less. Full amount is a little bit too strong for me and I taste only spices.

I love Zamouri spices, however, they need to incorporate an outer protective seal around the lid & bottle. My order of the Moroccan Coffee Spice arrived with the lid unscrewed & the inner freshness seal had pulled away from the top of the bottle & was stuck inside the lid. Spice powder was spilling out. I do not think it had been tampered with but likely the lid was not tight to begin with & became loose in shipping transit from Amazon. Please consider adding an outer wrapper or tape around the product lid & bottle (jar). I've been buying your Turkish & Moroccan Coffee Spices for a number of years & this is first time I've received a bottle with lid unscrewed.

The ingredients listed are cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, star anise and other spices. The flavor enhancement was a bit more exotic and mysterious compared to the Turkish spice by Zamouri. Thus, I deem it worthy of 4 stars.

This can turn some crappy coffee into something at least palatable if not delicious. It turns good coffee into an amazing experience. It adds richness and warmth to your morning cup of joe. The spice blend itself smells incredible as well as being flavorful and downright delicious. It also works well in fall/wintry baked goods. I love it and also use other spices and blends from them. Can't recommend enough.

The product is excellent. I buy this regularly and I ship it to Puerto Rico. But this time the packaging wasn't the best as you can see in the picture. When I opened the package it was like that, the lid had come off and it was a mess.

This doesn't have vanilla at all. It's good in dark roast coffee for sure, but not exactly what I thought I was getting.

I went to a Moroccan restaurant and they offered some coffee after our meal. I fell in love with the spices in the coffee. So I came on here and purchased this. This taste just the same. I also use this seasoning in my tea. I put it in a black tea to make it like a chai tea, or I put it ina vanilla tea, if I don't want any caffeine. I highly recommend trying this. It tastes so good with coffee or tea. It is a little pricier than if you buy the seasonings and mix it yourself, but you are paying for convenience.

Has nothing to do with Moroccan coffee spices.just Cinnamon taste.
