Lady In Red: The Collection

this is a nice collection of C de B's best known hits. I bought it as a gift as I know the person likes the 'popular' stuff. Personally Im more a fan of his older songs and the more obscure tracks that tell a story or have a pop / rock vibe. This is a nice cd for gentle listening or to put on whilst you are doing your housework or ironing. The person Ive bought it for will be very pleased though.

Love his music, my kind of listening got quite a few of his albums. Fab

I absolutely love Chris De Burgh - I've been a fan since the beginning, and this is another awesome CD.

Having loved the song "Lady in Red" for years, I thought this CD might be one of those "one hit wonders" where that was the only good song on it. However, I was totally surprised over how many wonderful songs there were. It has become a favorite of mine, playing it over and over on long car trips. Granted, the genre of the CD sticks pretty much to the genre of "Lady in Red", but that is EXACTLY the kind of music I was hoping for.

This song is perfect for the first meeting & first dancing all night with my late husband & I. I play Chris De Burgh's "Lady in Red" and sing it for me and my husband. I wore the "Red Dress" when he proposed that fateful day - I didn't say "yes" or "no" -- just had to think it over. Well, I finally said "yes," and we were married 6 months later! And, we had 41 wonderful years together...

I ordered this CD for the song "Lady In Red" which I love, however as I listened to the entire CD I found that every song on this CD is wonderful to listen to. The songs are sentimental and very meaningful. Love this CD!!!!!!

I purchased this CD mainly to get "Lady in Red" but I don't think this particular recording is as nice as the original. I don't know what label had the original recording. Also, there are not many songs on this CD that I find particularly good.

Absolutely amazing album. One of his best. I love it.
