Love this coffee, great taste and funny name

Guys at work love this stuff...just wish it came in ungrinded form.

My husband had the first cup today and loved it. I had ordered the butter toffee and love it. It's one of the strongest coffees I have tried. Funny name for the coffee. I hope to order more in the future. Would make great gag gifts for my husband and my parents. I might be back to order some for my mom who loves coffee.

My boyfriend bought this for me as a gift. He had talked about it before. Apparently he had bought it in another country, and loved it. So I thought I would give it a shot. I use a coffee press,and this coffee just tastes bad. I mean, McCafe coffee tastes better than this coffee. It's that bad. Hell, I bought a bag of McCafe coffee that was pretty decent as far as coffee goes! This coffee though? It's just...bland. It has no flavor. There's none of that rich, thick taste I enjoy with dark coffee. On top of which it doesn't even give you brewing instructions. The only information you get is "drip coffee" and that's it! I know in general most coffees can be brewed the same, but I've had a few specialty coffee that required they be brewed a certain way.This one? Nope. Nothing. On the whole, I don't recommend buying this coffee. You want some good espresso coffee that's strong, but cheap? Try Cafe Bustelo instead. It's by far the cheapest coffee I've ever had, and it tastes amazing. Don't buy this coffee. It tastes bad, and honestly? You'd be better off with Folgers instead of this stuff. It's just that terrible.

I've bought this in new orleans before, i just bought some for my dad's birthday, and i purchased some and a steel reusable k-cup for myself. It is a very dark blend and i drink my coffee black... I do not recommend this for anyone who doesn't like dark coffee, you will hate the taste. don't let the negative reviews steer you away. I don't drink any restaurant coffee unless it is dark roast from Waffle House, Dunkin, Starbucks, or from anyplace that has a dark roast. At home I swear up and down by Green Mountain's 'Dark Magic' blend, and this tastes as good or better. It is more than just a novelty coffee, that's for sure!

This coffee is intense. The flavor leaves me wanting. It is a bit too strong for my taste and frequently tastes a bit burnt, but that is all personal preference. This was a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. While it may not be our favorite coffee, it was most definitely a hit as far as a goofy gift for a coffee lover goes. Very giftable.

The name of the coffee alone makes it hysterical! Everyone loves it for the shock value and the fun. They also said it tastes great but I haven’t tasted it since I’ve been giving them for a gifts. I found this product on vacation, wished I had bought more and then was very surprised to find it on Amazon when I came home. Gave me the opportunity to buy another one. Love it!

We've had this before but we usually buy as gifts for coffee-addicted family members. They really enjoyed both the coffee and the brand - then went out and bought a new coffee machine to get the most out of it. Not sure why the review format asks me to rate "sheerness" - how on earth would that apply to coffee? Amazon bug, I presume. Others are also complaining about it online.
