This pad fit our Lifetime portable basketball hoop perfectly. It's an inexpensive pad that does help if you happen to run into the pole on a layup. It looks nice and seems fairly durable.

Good quality, Serves it’s purpose, but not very thick. Easy to install.

This pole works great for my needs! I'm using it to wrap around the pole near my parking spot so that I don't accidentally scrape my car into it, as I have in the past ones or twice. The padding is somewhat this, but does provide a good barrier between myself and the hard, unforgiving cement pole! It's a very good value compared to other pads of the same size I would definitely say! Here are photos to show pad thickness and how it looks around the pole. It's definitely higher than my car roof so it protects me from the entire pole.

These are definitely a little on the thin side, and if you are planning to run full speed at a padded post then look elsewhere. But great for the occasional stumble or push off. I actually bought two and stacked them...wanted the pad to go a little higher than the single one.

I did not want to spend a lot of money just for a pole cover and this seems to be the answer. Easy to install and durable. Also ordered some fabric fluorescent Velcro strips off Amazon and wrapped these around the pad for night visibility when guests park close to the pole at night.

I didn't buy this to use on a basketball pole. Instead, I used it to wrap the pole in our garage so the car door would not bang it damaging the door when it's opened. It doesn't wrap completely around the pole, but the pole is 3/4 covered and the fasteners worked fine to cover across the gap. So happy to see that this basketball pole pad cost less than wraps I found that were specifically intended for wrapping garage poles. Score!

We bought these to wrap around the support columns in our basement. Despite measuring the columns to confirm they are 3.5" in diameter, these protectors do not fully wrap the pole. There is roughly a 3" gap on the back side. The straps to secure the pad are long enough to wrap a second pad around the first to fully envelop the pole, but you shouldn't need two when it's advertised as a 3.5" cover. The padding is minimal but decent enough, better than nothing at least. They are cheap enough compare to other covers on the market that I'm debating just ordering two more to double wrap the other pole.
