Dont try to straighten one with a bent blade
I just ordered a replacement for one I destroyed within 5 minutes of opening the package. I have a lot of Rough Rider knives, with the standard 400A stainless blades. Sometimes I get a slightly warped blade, but I just bend them back straight. Apparently T10 steel flexes, but doesn't bend, because I tried that with this knife, and the T10 steel is so hard/brittle it snapped. I was very happy with it up to that point, though. It had a much stronger back spring than my other RR doctor's knives, which can sometimes be very weak, and the fit and finish was good.

Best pocket knife I've ever owned
Sharp out of the box; compact, and yet sturdy. Great for everyday tasks.

A few quirks, one serious, but a beautiful knife
Overall, lovely, good-feeling knife. My individual knife has three flaws: 1) the spring is a little weak, does not snap open very hard, 2-4 level pull. 2) there are tiny hairline gaps between the covers and the liners on the ends. The middle is totally tight. 3) this is the worst issue…. Halfway down the blade, at a point below the proximal 1/3 mark of the nail nick/pull, the edge is dulled/rolled by “blade rap”. This aligns with a high spot in the spring inside the handle at the point where it (the spring) is widened around the center handle pin. This is almost impossible to fix without hurting the knife and needing refinishing. The tip already almost proud; a leather or similar insert would make the tip stick out dangerously. Too bad…
