if you’re thinking about purchasing DO IT!!!!!!!
These markers are AMAZING. Honestly, it’s really difficult to find a economically priced set of brush nib alcohol markers and these did not disappoint me whatsoever. I use these exclusively over some other expensive brands (looking at you copic) and genuinely it’s so fun to do all of my illustrating with the brush rather than a bullet nib. Definitely feels more accurate in line work, and the ink doesn’t spread/bleed nearly as much as other brands in general. Yes it bleeds through to the other side of the paper but that is to be expected with any alcohol based marker. They blend well, they feel really good in the hands. 10/10 would buy again

Love them, wish I'd found them sooner.
The ink lays down smooth and vibrant. I love the packaging, how the top folds into a stand. My package arrived a little damaged, the cardboard was torn at some of the seams. But it still works. I'm going to try taping it. My markers were also not sorted correctly inside the case upon arrival, so I had to arrange them myself. They were all there and all in great shape, nice and juicy. The color selection in the 72 set is very nice! The purples and violets are all quite dark, though. I wish it included more pinks, peaches, and pastels. The colors on the printed guide and caps don't always match the ink very closely, but I expect that with any markers. I always make my own color key anyway. You can see that I attached my swatches to the printed color key on the box. This is a truly excellent value. Really great quality for the price. The fact that they don't appear to be refillable isn't much of a problem for me. This will be a great set for beginners! It includes a ton of useful colors, and they play nicely with other alcohol markers to supplement colors this line is lacking. I've included a picture comparing similar peach and brown alcohol ink colors from Copic and Prismacolor. Over all I'm very, very happy with these. I've been having an absolute blast with them.

Help yourself and do a color swatch.
Shipping box was undamaged but the product box was received with damage. The order of the markers in correlation to the premade swatch on the box was out of order, about 5 to 7 markers I had to rearrange. Half of the box the brush nibs were up and the other half were down. So did this set come from the manufacturer like that, box damaged, markers upside down and needing rearranged? Or was this product used/returned? I don't know, but all of the markers and their nibs look brand new. So I'm happy. After doing the color swatches I realized that the same numbered colors from the Caliart set are identical shades. So if you don't care about the brush nibs, and the nicer box and storage, then get the Caliart brand. The brush nibs are of high quality, I can easily compare them to copic or prismacolor markers. The color flows well and each marker was juicy and not dry.

Great Beginner Set for Manga Artists
My daughter loves the Manga art style. She got these for a gift and they are excellent! The brush tip is very flexible which is hard to find apparently. Great purchase- we will buy these again!

Perfect for Intermediate artists
I've used both copic and biyano now and I can say honestly that biyano are a great affordable way to go for an artist like myself getting back into it after all these years. I'm really impressed with the colors and blending. I bought the basic 72 and just upgraded to these with the brush tips. I'm looking forward to doing fine detail with them and as a bonus the basic set has most of the same colors so I can use them for large shading in backgrounds. You really cant go wrong with products from Japan!
