Better than original part!
Perfect fit for my broil mate grill. Heavier metal than the original part. Should extend the life of the burner for another season or two.

Stainless better, and fits Huntington 6301-14
There are two kinds of heat shields you can get to go over your burner. Burners (the part where the gas comes in and flame comes out) rust with food grease dripped onto them, so that’s why you have a heat shield (plus, it helps the heat on your food not be all just directly above the flames coming out of the burner’s holes). This is one of the reasons I like this shield: its heat holes are not over the burner, but over the grill base, so that drips drip down onto the grill base instead of onto the burner, which you are trying to avoid. Another seller had a heat shield that fit, but its holes were above the burner. There are two kinds of heat shields of this size: annotized aluminum and stainless steel. My online research said the difference is that the stainless steel can last eight years, whereas the annotized aluminum two years. The heat shield that came with my Huntington 6301-14 grill was the annotized aluminum and lasted two years; then it collapsed because it was eaten through with rust. This shield is stainless steel. It seems thick and sturdy, and because it’s stainless, should last a good, long while. It fit perfectly in my Huntington 6301-14 grill. it is the exact size of part #sm5072-9 or Cla-ts0324. Very happy.
