Men's New Wascana-Benen Military and Tactical Boot

Honestly, I don’t buy Skechers for their looks, I buy them for comfort. However, these are the first Skechers boots that I think look really great. And not only do they look great, but they are super comfortable too. This is the first pair of shoes that I’ve bought online as I always prefer to try them on in store first. But after having a difficult time finding a good pair of boots in stores around my area, I decided to take a chance on these boots when I saw them on Amazon, and I am so glad that I did.I work for Dish Network as a residential installation Technicinan, so I need a work boot that’s durable, comfortable to wear 10-12 hours a day, resilient to all weather conditions, slip resistant, and safe for climbing up and down and working from ladders all day. These boots definitely tic all of those boxes. With the relaxed fit and light weight, my feet feel really good by the end of the day. I have arthritis in both my big toes, most other boots I’ve worn usually make work painful by the end of the day, but so far these boots have really kept me nearly pain free by the end of the day. They also allow a good range of motion, which is important in my line of work as I need to get into some really awkward and uncomfortable positions when pulling cable through a dank crawl space or tight attic space. There’s even plenty of room for thicker winter socks on those extra cold days without losing any comfort. One downside of the relaxed fit that some might not like is the fact that there’s not a huge amount of ankle support. For me I prefer the wider range of motion in my ankles as opposed to a tighter more supportive feel around my ankles. And best of all, there’s really no break-in period needed. They were comfortable and ready to wear for work right from the get-go.The one item that I can’t fully comment on just yet is the durability of these boots as I haven’t worn them long enough to really say how durable they are. However, I’ve always found Skechers to last me quite a long time before needing replaced, and I expect these boots to have the same quality materials as all of my past Skechers boots have had. I have not had a chance to fully submerge them in a puddle of water either, but I have worn them in the rain and snow, and they have kept my feet warm and dry. Awesome boots, great in water, snow, tactical but still look great with dress pants, have a great shine to them. Never was a fan of steel toe but these guys have saved me some pain. Very comfortable once broken in took me a week to enjoy but believe me game changer.

No break in. With these boots. Extremely comfortable the moment you put them on. I really wish they were more durable. But at this price point you can buy three pairs of these for the cost of a pair of Redwings, Thoroughgoods, Danners ect...... honestly if you feel like gluing the soles back on at the toe they might go much longer lol. That seems to be the weak point. But extremely comfortable and I get a lot of work out of them before they die. Love the price point and I love the fact that they are just black. Pretty hard to just find a solid black work boot. Always all kinds of ugly labeling colors or goofy color schemes. They are waterproof. Did I mention no break in period? Comfortable from day one? With some decent insoles you will really be happy.

I just got these about a month ago, cannot speak on long-term durability, but, they fit perfectly theminute they arrived, are super-padded and comfortable, require no break-in time at all, really, as opposedto your average pair of Doc Marten 1460s, and they are definitely waterproof and excellent winter orany-season boots. Very cool tactical look, but not overly trendy. The lace system is fine, the metal guidecatchhooks at the top take some practice but they are decent once you get the hang of them. I got these for an absurdly reasonable price on here, and considering the quality and comfort and waterproofing, I am not complaining. I really needed more waterproof boots for the winter in NY here, and these fit the bill.They seem like they'll last a few years, but I wouldn't push it past that. The average pair of Timberlandsare like $150 these days, and may or may not last a few years, so these are fantastic if you don'twant to shell out that much. They also look cool for just going out, to the bar, a date, whatever,and don't really look like ugly workboots, etc, given the tactical finish and design. These maybe the most comfortable pair of ANY shoes I've ever purchased, requiring no break-in time,which is quite rare. I was forced to buy these online because DSW Shoes in my nabe had nothinglike these, and never has smaller sizes (or rarely) in stock.

So honestly I don't ever leave any reviews for hardly anything but I saw when I was trying to re-order these shoes it said "frequently returned item"Well I am not really sure why, I have bought these shoes for the last 2 yrs. 1 pair per year because that is how long they have lasted me. I use them 5 days a week for 8 hrs a day. Through hot, cold weather, snow and rain and they get me through the day. Previously I have used other named brands but the sole would get damaged right away. But these even after me replacing them with a new pair the sole of the used ones is still in pretty good shape. What wears out is the side of the shoe it separates from the sole but that's after ONE YEAR of use. If that is not a good shoe then what is. My old ones I just use them for yard work around the house or any other type of work at my house. Do to my type of work my shoes need to be presentable and I replace them as soon as they look worn out. I am very satisfied with this product, if it ever gets discounted I'm not sure what I will do. I hope this helps someone.

I picked up the Skechers Men’s New Wascana – Benen boots and overall they were comfortable right out of the box. Very little break-in time, good cushioning, and they fit true to size. They’re lightweight for a work-style boot and the tread provides solid traction.For the price, they felt like a good value at first.However, after about four months of wear — especially during snow and wet conditions — the leather around the toe started to peel. That was disappointing since the rest of the boot was still holding up fine. If you’re using them heavily in winter weather, durability may be a concern.Overall, comfortable and affordable, but the leather durability in snow conditions could be better.

This is a quality work boot. I just need to go up one size personally. I do recommend. But they take forever to process returns/refunds..

Should’ve thought twice when seeing it was heavily discounted. Although look like they would be good boots, they have a huge glaring issue that I have no idea how it got past design phase. There is a strap on the inside that connects the tongue of the shoe with the sides and it’s made of elastic. Not sure why they added that because when you actually put the shoe on, it folds in half and creates a spot on your ankle that just kind of digs into your foot. Tried them on and before even standing up my ankle was bothering me. Took 2 steps and couldn’t understand how it was being sold. If you cut it off, sure it might work but why…?Disappointed but understand the price discount now.. returned just now and got a better quality from Reebok. Which is what I had before and should’ve just went with what I knew worked. Surprised honestly, sketchers used to be solid. Maybe a one off weird design.

These boots are a great looking boot and very comfortable. I had many compliments at work and one co-worker wanted to know the exact order number so he could order his own pair.The first pair I ordered was a little too small, so I returned them and ordered a half size bigger.I highly recommend these boots to anyone and especially if you're wearing a uniform. They look real sharp!!

Very solid and comfortable. Haven't had a chance to test it waterproof-ness but they are very comfortable and look good. I plan to polish them to look more formal. Highly recommend.

Die Stiefel sehen gut aus, sind stabil und bequem.Echtleder ist es aber nicht.Es ist PU Leder (Polyurethan), ein hochwertiges Kunstleder. Immerhin.Vorteil ist, dass man keine Schuhcreme braucht. Feuchter Lappen reicht zum Reinigen aus.War mir bewusst als ich die Bestellung aufgab, dass man zu diesem Preis, keine Echtleder Stiefel erwarten kann.Trotzdem Empfehlung!
