Pelican Argo 100X - Recreational Sit in Kayak - Lightweight Patented Ram-X™ Material - Ergoform™ Seating System - 10 ft

This kayak is my first kayak. I was pondering an inflatable one at a third of the price of the Argo, but after reading reviews I decided to buy a quality kayak. The Argo 100 X is that. It is well built but still light. I can easily lift it upon my shoulder and walk about. Plenty of room inside the cockpit. Foot rests are very nice. Legs do not cramp or get tired. Stability, oh my !!! The Argo will not tip over. Believe me we tried. We even ran a paddleboard at full speed into the beam and my Argo stayed upright while my mate went swimming off the paddleboard. He calls my Argo the "Titanic". Unsinkable. Now mind, there are no icebergs around. Well enough is enough. This kayak is fantastic. A great value. The blue fade looks so sweet on the water. I have 2 of these, they track straight, easy to handle, relatively light, plenty of storage for any day trip. The hatch cover and storage setup isn't good but it works and that's not a primary concern for most. This kayak can be a great value and punches way above it's class. Shipping is a fiasco, don't worry about a few scratches either, it's a tool not a jewel, enjoy paddling!

Lightweight and works great. With a car top carrier I can install in 5 minutes, I can easily lift this kayak on top of my car and secure it. For the price, it's a great value and easy to maneuver. It is a workout though unless you have still water.

Really happy with this Pelican kayak. It performs really well on the water smooth to paddle and very stable, which makes it easy to use. It tracks nicely and doesn’t feel all over the place. The overall build feels sturdy and reliable. I also really like the look of it clean design and nice color. Definitely a solid kayak for lake and river days.

Product looks as promised. It's what you pay for. I'm going from a Widerness Pungo 120 to this 10 footer so I'm spoiled with seat comfort. This is liftable for me which is what I needed. I'll update after I get it in the water

I did a lot of research to find a kayak I could lift and carry by myself, as well as hoist into the back of my car without any help. It is only 36 pounds, and it handles great on the water. I wish the compartment in the front was a true deep storage area instead of a smallish round place to keep a few things, but it's really not a deal breaker for me. The main thing is to be able to get out on the water whenever I want to, without needing to find help lugging around a heavier boat. I have only had it out a few times, and I'm really happy with it. I was out on a windy, choppy day and it was wonderful, very comfortable, and tracks pretty straight. I know a heavier, longer craft would probably tack easier, but this is the kayak I needed for more opportunities for independent paddling on a moment's notice. sits well in the water, the foot pegs are molded into the sides, which may cause problems if they aren't at the right settings for you, but they just happen to be perfect for me to either have my knees up or legs straight. I can't wait to get out there again next week!

Nice kayak, very lightweight. You get what you pay for. No manual included (yes, I know---no one ever sends a paper manual anymore) Tag says "lifetime warranty" and when I called to ask about it I was told it is a 1 year warranty. Boat was filled with plastic shavings that manufacturers didn't bother to remove. See photo. Reason for crap review is that the item required someone to be home and I got spam tagged phone calls from CEVA delivery about setting up a delivery time. When I answered, the calls, no one responds---they left an automated message. NO where on this product or in emails does it say someone has to be home. Why didn't I get an email telling me this?????? Also, they are supposed to CALL 30 minutes before hand----the driver showed up and told me he texted (20 minutes before) but there was no text on my phone. No reason for this. Not happy having to have taken a day off from work for this. I should have had the option for them to leave it without signature.

Absolutely love it. Took it out a lot last summer in lakes, didn’t need a spray skirt, probably would for the ocean. Enough room overall for a small cooler, tackle box, water bag, and small fishing pole. Had to purchase the paddles separately which is probably the only down side, but it’s quality makes up for it that.
