Does it work well with key limes? Or is it to big?

Yes it works very well with key limes. Our 2-in-1 design allows you to be able to squeeze any lime comfortably as well as any lemon, so you do not have to buy 2 squeezers. One of the reasons I made this product is because I have tried to use a regular lemon squeezer for key limes and it was VERY difficult.

what is the coating made of?paint or anodized alum.dont want chipped paint in my food.

It chips. Paint will crack, blister and fall into food and drinks. This is my second press. I’m done. Switching to another brand and stainless steel.
