Not for acrylics. And really thin.
When I say 'thin' I mean dollar store picture frame plexiglass thin. And I'm not sure that that's not exactly what this is. Since this description did not explicitly say that it's not usable with acrylic paints I hoped maybe it would work, but no. I'm not giving it 3 stars for that, I'm giving it 3 stars because it seems pricey for 3 thin pieces of plastic.
