Great way to burn cones or sticks
My son loves it. It does have some flaws so I wouldn't say its fancy. Definitely fits the hippy vibes. Easy to use, love the clean up and the storage.

This is Huge. Updated review after 11 months use.
This arrived quickly. It was well packaged. It was much larger than I expected which was Nice. It holds up to 6 incense at a time plus 2 cones if you want. It has a storage compartment on the bottom. We got the Vine designed one which is beautiful & the surprise was the Free 20 Lavander(Lavender) incense inside. We are Happy with this purchase. Update after 11 months of use: ร posted a new video. It came apart at the top. I am not sure if it is because maybe the glue came apart after Multiple uses or? It has 3 holes on each side but you can only use the single top holes. The bottom 2 are useless. When you put incense in them, they lay on the bottom with the ashes & go out. Even though I have used this regularly, I am looking for something more durable & that I can use Multiple sticks at a time in.

One of the best Amazon values.
Think of how much skill, cost, and time it would take you to make this "Coffin". Seriously doubt you could buy the material [wood, brass, glue, saw blades] for what the completed burner costs. Could we make one? Yes. Would we? No, for the reasons stated above. We imagine the craftsman, barely getting paid a minimum, to create this, and realize that there are many layers to this onion. Notes on quality: 1.] The "brass plugs" in the ash deck may need to be re-glued using regular wood glue. 2.] The "crude craftsmanship" or "wabi-sabi" is flawless. Want perfection? Buy a metal-glass-stone mass-produced artifact instead [our view is why even bother with incense if that is your sense of value?]. 3.] The wood came from a high-humidity region and will warp a bit, so we sanded ours a bit for fit. If the damn thing falls apart, we have a bottle of wood glue. 4.] We burn cheap incense, and the sticks are often bent; we just bend them to fit somewhat parallel. We at most will burn but two sticks at a time; heat and wood are not a good marriage. 5.] We never burn unattended.

Great for the price!
I just received mine and am pretty impressed. I had low expectations though, to be fair. (Based on the mixed reviews on seemingly ALL the wooden incense coffins available, regardless of vendor. I have also ordered one before, from a different vendor on Amazon... this one far surpasses that one in quality.) First off, it arrived tightly wrapped in layers of Saran Wrap, which oddly impressed me? I guess I was expecting it to be just floating in a box with foam packing peanuts, and potentially missing some of the metal decals from the trip (the last vendor's was missing some). When I ripped through it's wrapping, I was immediately impressed with the quality of wood finish- there are no rough edges, the entire thing is so smooth and it's much prettier than i anticipated. The lid opens and closes perfectly snug, and the hatch for storing your incense also has a nice snug and sturdy feeling when opened/closed. I love the metal decals on it they are awesome, especially the little stars. Totally worth the measly 8 bucks it cost me! Can't wait to use it.

Itโs not designed super well.
I bought this because one of the hinges on my 25 year old incense burner box is broken, due to me dropping it. I didnโt think it would be so difficult to replace. This one is pretty. However, it is flawed. It doesnโt open very far so itโs a bit awkward to put the incense in the holes. Also the holes are drilled weird. You need to fiddle with the incense sticks so that they donโt fall flat onto the bottom and snuff themselves out. Itโs not worth returning. Iโll use a little wood putty to tighten up the holes. I wonโt buy another one.
