how wide is the narrow end of this strap?

The end that fits onto upper area of the guitar is 1 1/2" wide. The end that fits the bottom of the guitar is just a belt strap about 1" wide.

To Amazon the black guitar strap that i just put in my cart is there anyway to have a red rose ingraved in it please or any advise on that please ? Ga

the M26PD-BLK does not have a black rose on it.

If your banjo has 2 strap buttons on it, this will work.

Did anyone else have problems with it being too tight around the strap button on the guitar? Mine is squeaking like mad, the pickups even register it!

Strap buttons vary from guitar to guitar, so some are tighter than others on the strap. Tight is good so your guitar does not come away from the strap which could be disastrous. Put a drop of baby oil on the button to stop the squeaking and enjoy this great strap.
